Welcome to Zombie Fantasy Island where we’ll believe and follow anything.
There’s been a lot of talk among the doomsayers about the Mayan Calendar, and how we’re all supposed to start heading for the apocalypse this coming December.
I thought it might have already happened.
My theory is we’re already mostly zombies anyway and just don’t know it yet.
The mainstream media has turned us into a bunch of slobbering messes who are in denial of a world that is crashing down around us while we read meaningless news stories and watch brain cell killing television shows.
Crashing down around us while we Dance With the Stars.
Crashing down around us while we fight with each other over whether Katy Perry or Miley Cyrus has a cuter ass.
Yes, this is a real lingerie ad showing Jenny McCarthy on the toilet looking sexy with her Candies Panties around her shins. How low can we sink? Braaaaains!
Why do I get the feeling that if a real zombie was out looking for brains, he’d walk right past Miley and Katy and half the people our media puts on pedestals for us to slavishly worship?
Yet, the world is still crashing down around us while we are bombarded every second of our lives by slick ads telling us to buy their product, or take their drug, or slobber over this celebrity.
Still crashing down around us while we fight over Obamney or Romama.
The real test of this theory will come on election day and how people vote on the Propositions.
Decades of disinformation from the mainstream media and stench-filled talk radio have convinced many of us that the major problems facing this nation are things such as, illegal immigrants; abortion; gay marriage; and unions – and while we’ve been busy arguing about that, the plutocracy has been robbing us blind.
Make no mistake, those are IMPORTANT issues and need to be addressed, but they are callously used by the 1% to keep us fighting amongst ourselves.
The reality is, the 1% couldn’t care less about our rights, so long as their profits keep rising.

Do you really think they give a damn if abortion is legal or illegal?
Do you really think they care if gay people are allowed to marry?
Do you think they give a damn about illegals when they know they have a full crop of easily exploited workers right here in the USA that would cut each others throats for a nickel?
But, unions? Oh yeah. They care about that.
The LAST thing the 1% wants is a united workforce dedicated to the welfare of the average worker. THAT might cut into their profit margin.
That’s why they spend so much time and money trying to bust unions and spread disinformation about organized labor.
That’s why 1% special interest groups will buy labor busting politicians and get measures such as California’s Proposition 32 on the ballot.
Whenever and wherever people try to organize, the 1% and their bought off politicians and media will try to crush it EVERYTIME if they can’t co-opt or buy out the Movement
That’s why they convolute the English language and change the meanings of phrases such as “Work until you die for a low wage” and “Be an indentured slave for us” into “Right to Work”
People in the USA and the World will watch American Television news and say:
“All those news channels are full of crap!”
But, I don’t think they are full of crap at all; they really do an excellent job of stirring up and distracting the stupids.
You really have to read the news with a critical eye these days.

As territorial dispute simmers, Japan monitors China warships near southern island

Japan and China are trading a new round of criticism after Japanese military aircraft spotted seven Chinese warships in waters off a southern island not far from a chain of isles at the center of a heated territory dispute. China said the ships were on a routine training mission.
The Chinese ships were sighted Tuesday about 49 kilometers (30 miles) from the island of Yonaguni, in Japan’s Okinawa prefecture (state), according to Japan’s Defense Ministry. They were about 200 kilometers (125 miles) from a chain of small islands that have sparked a heated dispute between Japan and China.
The ships were believed to be returning to China after training in the Pacific. Japan’s Defense Ministry on Wednesday said the ships were not headed for the disputed islands, but said it was the first time the Chinese navy has been spotted using the narrow sea passage near Yonaguni.

Defense Minister Satoshi Morimoto said Japan is monitoring the ships’ movement. Japan considers the area part of its contiguous waters, but it is not illegal for foreign vessels to transit them.
It is not unusual for the Chinese navy to transit waters around Okinawa en route to the Pacific, but they usually go through wider straits. The ships included frigates, a guided missile destroyer, a supply ship and two submarine rescue vessels.
Defense Ministry officials said the ships might have been trying to avoid an approaching typhoon.
China’s Defense Ministry said the ships were on a scheduled cruising exercise and were acting in a manner that was “appropriate and legal.”
Underscoring China’s sharper stance, it also protested the scrambling of a Japanese military plane in the direction of the disputed islands, calling that a “gross violation” of Chinese sovereign rights.

CIA seeks to expand drone fleet, officials say
The CIA is urging the White House to approve a significant expansion of the agency’s fleet of armed drones, a move that would extend the spy service’s decade-long transformation into a paramilitary force, U.S. officials said.

The proposal by CIA Director David H. Petraeus would bolster the agency’s ability to sustain its campaigns of lethal strikes in Pakistan and Yemen and enable it, if directed, to shift aircraft to emerging al-Qaeda threats in North Africa or other trouble spots, officials said.
The CIA’s proposal would have to be evaluated by a group led by President Obama’s counterterrorism adviser, John O. Brennan, officials said.
The group, which includes senior officials from the CIA, the Pentagon, the State Department and other agencies, is directly involved in deciding which alleged al-Qaeda operatives are added to “kill” lists. But current and former officials said the group also plays a lesser-known role as referee in deciding the allocation of assets, including whether the CIA or the Defense Department takes possession of newly delivered drones.

FEMA just took delivery of a bunch of armored cars, complete with machine gun portals to be used here in the United States for “Crowd control in times of Martial Law.”
