THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU
on January 9, 2012 at 12:57 pmGreetings, fellow Activists!
Well, here we are. Another day older and deeper in debt.
Once again we’re having to dive into the cesspool of candidates to see what “little nuggets” of hope and wisdom might be there for us.
As usual, out of touch rich people are telling us what their vision of the future holds for “we, the people” as we sink further and further down the tubes. The only thing we know for certain? At the New Hampshire Primary,
They don’t give a damn about you.
How about this story?
From The Associated Press
GOP candidates wade into food stamp debate
“Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and fellow contender Rick Santorum, both heavily involved in congressional welfare reform efforts in the mid-1990s, say the government should stop promoting a welfare-like state and convert food stamp spending to block grants to states, a move that could freeze spending and cut the benefit to many who now receive it.”
“A spokesperson for Republican Mitt Romney says the former Massachusetts governor also supports turning the nation’s food stamp program into state block grants, though he rarely mentions it.”
Calico Blackie says:
They don’t give a damn about you. It’s the usual “Get the Archie Bunker-types to support us by attacking the poor that need assistance.” “See those poor people? They’re costing YOU your tax dollars!” What a complete bunch of assholes.
Blaming people that are suffering is pathetic.
From ABC News
Wall Street Bonuses May Reach Lowest Level in 3 Years

Oh, those poor bankers. And to think they might not even be able to get FOOD STAMPS if Newt has his way!
“Wall Street banks will announce their annual compensation and bonuses starting this month, and forecasts are generally expecting cutbacks across the board though the rewards will still be rich at least by non-1 percenter standards. Employees of the biggest Wall Street banks could see compensation sink 27 to 30 percent from a year ago to the lowest level since the 2008 financial crisis.”
“Bonuses grew larger and became more prevalent across industries during last bonus season. Median total bonus payouts for S&P 500 CEOs increased to $2,150,000 in 2010, up 43.3 percent from the 2009 median of $1,500,000.”
“Whether it’s $180 or billion or $150 billion, there are billions of dollars going to executives who crashed the economy,” Tracy Van Slyke, co-director of The New Bottom Line, said,” when instead they should be reducing the principal for all underwater homeowners and paying their fair share of taxes.”
Calico Blackie says:
They don’t give a damn about you. It’s almost as if they’re waving their collective dorks at us all the while saying nyaa-nyaa! We’re supposed to feel sorry for these bastards?
Then, there’s this:
From The Huffington Post
Wall Street Employees Threaten To Quit If Bonuses Aren’t Up To Snuff
“For some on Wall Street, a less-than-stellar bonus is simply too much to bear.”
“Brokerage executives at one Wall Street firm, Jefferies Group, have threatened to leave the company if their bonuses aren’t up to par with other firms.”
“Though some particularly stellar employees may be able to eventually convince their bosses to give them a bigger share of the bonus pie, nervousness surrounding dismal job prospects on Wall Street will likely keep most bankers quiet.”
LET THEM QUIT.
THEY DON’T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU!
Speaking of giving a damn…
Here’s one you won’t see on Fox “news”:
From KCBS and Rawstory.com
Senior citizens shut down Bank of America branch in Calif.
“A group of senior citizen activists calling themselves “Wild Old Women” staged a protest at a San Francisco Bank of America branch this week and succeeded in causing the business to close its doors, albeit temporarily.”
“The Bank of America in Bernal Heights, a district of San Francisco, was confronted by the activists on Thursday afternoon.”
“The women were ages 69 to 82, and they stood on a sidewalk holding signs that demanded lower fees, higher taxes for the wealthy and a freeze on foreclosures. The bank locked its doors as soon as they arrived.”
“We’re upset about what the banks are doing, particularly in our neighborhood and neighboring areas, in evicting people and foreclosing on their homes,” one of the activists was quoted as saying.”
“We’re upset because the banks are raising their rates because it really affects seniors who are on a fixed income.”
Calico Blackie says:
Bank of America doesn’t give a damn about you.
I’m surprised that the old ladies weren’t pepper-sprayed. What is Bank of America so afraid of that they had to close the bank and lock their doors?
WHY WASN’T THIS REPORTED NATIONWIDE?
Oh yeah, it would show the nation and the world that the “occupy” protests are actually comprised of a huge cross-section of citizens who are fed-up with being heartlessly screwed by Wall Street, and not just “vermin infested dirty hippie crybabies.”
Meanwhile, back in the Police State:
Police club young woman riding bike at Oakland protest
“Police officers knocked down and clubbed a young woman during an anti-police march in Oakland late Saturday night, and arrested six people.”
“Video of the incident uploaded to YouTube showed the young woman riding her bicycle towards a small group of officers.”
“As she approached, officers shoved her to the ground and at least one clubs her with his baton.”
“Protesters quickly rushed to her aid, and dragged her away from police.”

Finally, there’s this letter that I read yesterday and I thought I would share it with my readers:
“Forty years ago some friends of mine decided that we couldn’t trust the government to leave us alone, much less do right by us. We believed in sustainable local integrated organic farming, and clean renewable energy alternatives.”
“Not just because the food tasted better and was better for us, and the air smelled sweeter, but because it freed us from dependence on the roller coaster rise and fall of an artificial economy that served the wealthy at the expense of everyone else.”
Had people gone along with it, we wouldn’t be having most of the problems we face today. Young men and women wouldn’t have had to die in the Middle East for oil.
“Then some evilly brilliant asshole corporate stooges called us pathetic, labeled us “Hippies” and created the legend of the cartoon character protester granola crunching tree huggers. This was soon parroted by the ignorant and short sighted.”
Calico Blackie says:
Sound familiar? The same recycled propaganda has been trotted out by the 1% and their lackeys in Congress and the mainstream media in an attempt to discredit the “occupy” movement.
The letter continues with:
Good people just gave up and traded it all in for cocaine and conspicuous consumption. Later, they crushed organized labor, shipped all the manufacturing jobs to the third world, and tanked the economy. The Rich came out crazy stupid richer than ever, and you, my little friend, probably didn’t see a dime of it.
How’s that workin out for ya?
Calico Blackie says:
There will always be sheep that will happily believe everything they’re told to believe. The world is full of ‘em. It’s easier to laugh at, and scorn the people who try to sound the alarm. After all, it’s easier to stay in bed and be asleep a little longer than it is to wake up. Isn’t it?
Or, they’ll slap another metallic ribbon on their car, follow moveon.org on Facebook, and call themselves “aware” and “socially conscious.” Those same people will turn you in to the Gestapo if they thought they might get a pat on the head from their masters.
The reality is, they don’t give a damn about you, or your cause.
It just makes them feel better, and if they have one, it eases their conscience. You know them. They go to Wal-Mart, and loudly complain to anybody near them about how the store is selling nothing but cheap imported junk and that it’s a shame that the store is putting Americans out of work. Then, they pay for their items, get their fat asses into their Lexus, and go home to their huge houses.
Screw ‘em. Every last damn one of them.
On that note…..
”The sun still shines”
Keep occupying!
OCCUPY CONGRESS JANUARY 17th
AND:
Don’t forget about Officer Pike of the UC Davis PD. Let’s never forget how he and other police officers have treated peaceful protesters. He should be arrested and tried for assaulting the public.
