(CBS/AP) ANAHEIM, Calif. - “Riot police fired bean bag rounds and pepper balls into a crowd of protestors late Tuesday outside City Hall as council members inside voted unanimously to ask the U.S. attorney’s office to investigate recent officer-involved shootings, including one of an unarmed man.”
“About 250 riot police were called in by officials to quell the more than 600 demonstrators before restoring order. Twenty-four people were arrested in the unrest.”
“The back-to-back weekend shootings have sparked four days of protests. A crowd of protesters who were shut out of the council meeting because there was no more room grew violent, tossing rocks and bottles at police and ignoring warnings to disperse.”
“Officers formed lines to try to contain the crowd as residents set fire to trash cans, loudly taunted police and swarmed a Starbucks, breaking windows.”

“Police helicopters hovered from above as colorful fireworks from nearby Disneyland lit up the sky.”
“CBS station KCAL reports that some of the people in the crowd were trying to hold a peaceful demonstration, but others began chanting, swearing and yelling at police officers.”

As usual, the media says the police were doing crowd control when things got out of hand. The crowd was unruly, and the police just had to start randomly firing rubber bullets and beanbag rounds into the crowd.
Yeah, right.
Once again, the livestreamers had us covered. We had better pay attention to their webcasts now, because pretty soon this type of reporting will be made illegal and only corporate/government “approved” filming and reporting will be allowed.

As I saw it unfold, live on the web, the police attacked the group of citizens which then provoked the people into fighting back against the assault. Mind you, fighting back when assaulted is a right guaranteed in our U.S. Constitution.
Or, has that right been trashed too, along with our right to assemble and our right to free speech?
In case you didn’t know, this protest action by citizens of the United States of America was not an “Occupy” protest.
This protest action was the direct result of AMERICANS being afraid for their lives. They are worried about the police KILLING THEM.
If you want to end a whole lot of gun violence in this country….
DISARM THE POLICE and make it so that SWAT teams are the only cops allowed to pack heat! Return to the beat cop and his billy club. On the streets.

They did this to show the TRUTH to the American people and were shot at by the Anaheim Police for their efforts.
Between the “Patriot Act” and the NDAA, the livestreamers risk their freedom and now their lives to bring us the news as it happens.
What are the cops trying to hide by shooting at and arresting people with cameras?
Could it be that their (the cops) video footage doesn’t show any rocks or bottles in the air?
Or, if it does….
Could it be that the police video footage will show that rocks were thrown AFTER the police fired on the crowd (which included women and children, by the way), and that the people were actually defending themselves against attack?
The only way we’ll know for certain is if Tim and Amber and the other livestreamers out there continue their efforts. That is, if they’re not subjected to a “knock on the door in the middle of the night.”
Anyway, the police abuse of the citizenry continues unabated from sea to shining sea.

‘What?’ Confused 911 caller outs NYPD spying in NJ
Yeah, NYPD. I sure feel safer!
NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) — “It’s an audiotape the New York Police Department hoped you would never hear.”
“A building superintendent at an apartment complex just off the Rutgers University campus called the New Brunswick Police 911 line in June 2009. He said his staff had been conducting a routine inspection and came across something suspicious.”
“What’s suspicious?” the dispatcher asked.
“Suspicious in the sense that the apartment has about — has no furniture except two beds, has no clothing, has New York City Police Department radios.”
“Really?” the dispatcher asked, her voice rising with surprise.
“The caller, Salil Sheth, had stumbled upon one of the NYPD’s biggest secrets: a safe house, a place where undercover officers working well outside the department’s jurisdiction could lie low and coordinate surveillance. Since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks, the NYPD, with training and guidance from the CIA, has monitored the activities of Muslims in New York and far beyond.”
I wonder if these three fine young American girls were Muslims? Maybe Bloomberg would’ve liked to have adopted them? Charlie Manson did!
“Detectives infiltrated mosques, eavesdropped in cafes and kept tabs on Muslim student groups, including at Rutgers.”
“The NYPD kept files on innocent sermons, recorded the names of political organizers in police documents and built databases of where Muslims lived and shopped, even where they were likely to gather to watch sports.“
“Out-of-state operations, like the one in New Brunswick, were one aspect of this larger intelligence-gathering effort. The Associated Press previously described the discovery of the NYPD inside the New Jersey apartment, but police now have released the tape of the 911 call and other materials after a legal fight.”
“There’s computer hardware, software, you know, just laying around,” the caller continued. “There’s pictures of terrorists. There’s pictures of our neighboring building that they have.”

“The call sent New Brunswick police and the FBI rushing to the apartment complex. Officers and agents were surprised at what they found. None had been told that the NYPD was in town.”

“In February, NYPD’s deputy commissioner for legal matters, Andrew Schaffer, told reporters that detectives can operate outside New York because they aren’t conducting official police duties.”
The 911 call continued with:
“And pictures of our neighboring buildings?” the dispatcher asked.
“Yes, the Matrix building,” Sheth replied, referring to a local developer. “There’s pictures of terrorists. There’s literature on the Muslim religion.”
“New York authorities have encouraged people like Sheth to call 911. In its “Eight Signs of Terrorism,” people are encouraged to call the police if they see evidence of surveillance, information gathering, suspicious activities or anything that looks out of place.”

“Civil rights lawyers have asked a federal judge to decide whether the spying violates federal rules that were set up to prevent a repeat of NYPD abuses of the 1950s, when police Red Squads spied on student groups and activists in search of communists.”

Nevermind that the Aurora shooter didn’t use armor piercing bullets: its a good line for motivating people who don’t know much about guns into demanding more gun control.”
By the way, the only people who can legally buy armor-piercing bullets are law enforcement officers. It’s already the law of the land. I guess Bloomberg missed that one.

I would MUCH RATHER have the freedom to settle my own problems than to be REQUIRED to call the cops. We’ve been conditioned to think we’re cop-dependent.
WE’RE NOT.
Bloomberg would fold if his bluff is called. Once the people realize the FREEDOM that comes with assuming responsibility for one’s own safety, they will INSIST on the permanence of dismantling the police state.
The current police state is its own terrorist regime. You can’t do ANYTHING in NYC, even if you’re not breaking the law, without running the risk of drawing the unwanted attentions of the jackbooted thugs that masquerade as police.
Problem solved without cops!
You can be tazed, punched, kicked, forcibly strip-searched by officers of the opposite sex, even shot dead… without provocation or on account of “literally looking at the jackboot thug the wrong way”.
Actually, Bloomberg has a GREAT idea! Let’s see them all turn in their badges.
The jackbooted thugs will be the ones to balk and say no; the honest cops will be willing.
They can be elected back into office if they obey their oaths to the Constitution.
But, they won’t strike. They like the work and the pay, plus, their masters won’t allow them to strike.
Like whores, they’ve been bought and paid for and now have to do whatever the 1% tells them to do.

They have to follow orders!

“The three band members, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, twenty-three; Maria Alekhina, twenty-four; and Ekaterina Samutsevich, twenty-nine—Nadia, Masha, and Katya—are being prosecuted for an unsanctioned “punk-prayer” called “Our Lady, chase Putin out.”
“The women managed to perform for about thirty seconds in the Moscow Christ the Savior Cathedral before the church’s security guards kicked them out.”

What is happening to “Pussy Riot” is a very good example of what can happen here to all of us if we don’t keep up our efforts.
