Greetings from Calico Blackie in Rural America!
The warm weather is finally upon us and that means no more firewood cutting for awhile. YAY!
That’s the big news from small town America today.
Off the coast, they’re catching radioactive bluefin tuna that were irradiated when the Fukushima nuclear powerplant went, but don’t worry, it’s safe….
Also, if anybody was paying attention in the rest of the country…..
Texas held their primary election yesterday and guess who won? Was it ever in doubt?
From MSNBC News:
With Texas win, Romney secures delegates to win nomination
“Mitt Romney won the Republican primary in Texas on Tuesday, a victory that gives him more than the 1,144 delegates needed to secure his party’s presidential nomination.”
“Following a bruising primary season earlier this year that extended longer than many Republicans had hoped, NBC News projected that Romney had finally won the necessary delegates to secure the nomination, though the former Massachusetts governor won’t earn the official nod until August’s Republican National Convention in Tampa.”
“The race for the Republican nomination has been largely over since the April 3 primary in Wisconsin.”
“Romney’s win in that contest prompted the eventual withdrawals of his remaining rivals: Rick Santorum, Newt Gingrich, and Ron Paul.”
“It also hastened the onset of President Barack Obama’s own re-election offensive versus Romney.”

Calico Blackie says:
Of course, Ron Paul supporters are pissing and moaning, but did anyone seriously think the Republican National Committee was going to support Ron Paul? Hell no.
But, enough about these distractions…..
Let’s get to the REAL news!
“Miss California USA 2012, Natalie Pack, walks the runway in her Kooey Australia Swimwear during the Kooey Australia Swimwear Fashion Show featuring the Miss USA 2012 Contestants at the Trump Tower in Las Vegas, Nevada, May 23, 2012.”
Now we know the real reason Mitt is in Las Vegas. Him and Donald are in town for the meatshow.
So, if you’re in Las Vegas and see a car with Miss California tied to the roof, be sure to wave at Mitt and Donald Trump as they drive by.
Meanwhile, we’re still protesting corruption and inequality, but we don’t stand a chance when we’re sandwiched somewhere between Trumps hair and The Miss America T&A Show.
The majority of Americans don’t even realize we’re still out there on the streets. Looks like the revolution dies with a tweet, not a whimper.
Because we tried to be nice about it and we allow ourselves to be beaten down by the private police armies of the 1%.
We’ve been pacified by Hollywood and the mainstream media propaganda machine.
I was thinking about that movie “V” and the guy in the Guy Fawkes mask that always gets everyone so charged up and wondered:
What if that was REAL?
Some dude in a mask and cape blows up The Old Bailey and The Parliament Building and we all cheer as it’s happening.
We would be horrified and he would be killed and dismissed as a nutcase.
Think about it….
We say: “Kick them out of office. Drag them ALL out and string them up.” Yet, when one of them gets shot, we’re horrified.
The jackass that shot Gabby was a “nutcase.”
“Remember remember the 5th of November?”
We were horrified on 9-11, and we were horrified at Oklahoma City when Tim McVeigh blew up a Federal Building full of people enabling the machine, killing innocent people in the process. He was a “nutcase.”
We were horrified when the DEA murdered David Koresh and his followers in Waco, but it was ok because he was a “nutcase.”
Is this what we want? People forming cults, running around in masks, shooting people and blowing up buildings?
What would we say?
But that’s not all. There have been people railroaded, imprisoned or killed by our government and we barely noticed.
Ruby Ridge massacre? Don’t even get me started on that one. Where was the outrage? Oh yeah, he was a “nutcase” too. How many of you even know what Ruby Ridge was?
How many of you even know what Pine Ridge was and who Leonard Peltier is?
Yet, we still cry and moan about our fate and make it very easy for the 1% to screw us.
The 1% knows if we can’t get millions of people to take to the streets, we will remain powerless against the machine.
They know that if someone were to do something really radical, the 1% would paint them out to be a nutcase and imprison them.
Our protests get beaten down and forgotten in the maze of bullshit we’re fed by the mainstream media.
We become apathetic and we keep electing the same bastards to congress over and over, even when we know they’re acting against our best interests.
What is wrong with us?
LOOK AT THIS LIST:

And, this list doesn’t even include the Feinsteins and other sell-outs who cynically exploit us for their own personal gain.
This is only the ones who have served over 20 years in the Senate. There are several between 12 and 16 years in office as well.
Aw hell, what’s the point, you say?
That’s exactly how the 1% wants you to think.
DON’T ALLOW THEM TO CONTROL YOUR THINKING.
Think for yourself and make your own decisions. Do what’s right.
If you’re still asleep after reading this, you’re probably already dead.
