CONSPIRACY NUTS AND OTHER ANNOYING CLOWNS
on January 8, 2013 at 3:11 pmGreetings from Calico Blackie!

Don’t try to go against the grain. Someone with photoshop and a following will ruin you. And the majority of people in this country will believe them, not you. We’re so screwed.
Have you ever noticed that if you begin to question the motives of big business and government in this country, how quick you hear the words “conspiracy nut” spoken in context with your name and beliefs?
The photo at left is from Michelle Bachman’s website.
You know, that kook who doesn’t know her ass from a hole in the ground and yet has a huge following in this country?
The funny thing is, that “kook” started all this crap, painting out a presidential candidate to be a conspiracy nut, and the liberals in the nation picked it up as if it was gospel dribbling from the mouths of Diane Feinstein and Barbara Streisand.
It was what they wanted to believe.

Oh, we can still criticize, but those that do are classified by the propaganda machine as non-conformists and conspiracy nuts. Witch-hunted. Isn’t that the same thing as prohibition?
But, hey………..
Don’t question. Don’t think for yourself. Conform. FOLLOW THE HERD!
To be a non-conformist is BAD.
But, don’t let that discourage you. When we discover the fact our doubleplus good chocolate ration is being increased, you can sit back and smugly (bitterly?) smile and think to yourself:
“Remember how it was before it all went to hell?”
Start the memory machine now, because it’s going to hell fast.
Here’s a good one (long, but worth the read):
Two New Fraud Deals Show Wall Street’s Washington Insiders at Work

We KNOW we’re getting screwed yet if anyone says something about it, they’re called a “troublemaker”. So….do we just say “screw it”??
It must’ve been like old home week when the old gang of Wall Street and Washington insiders finalized a couple more cushy settlements last week.
Everybody knew the drill: Ignore the potential criminal charges and agree on settlement figures they think the public will swallow — figures that are big enough to sound impressive but far smaller than the banks’ ill-gotten gains. They’ve done this dozens of times before.
But there was an empty chair at the negotiating table.
Bank of America was there, as it has been so many times before. So were the other too-big-to-fail banks. Representatives from the Attorney General’s office were undoubtedly there, too.
The Attorney General was a high-priced Wall Street attorney.
The banks’ “independent” reviewers were there, too, or at least their reports were. Those reports said that there were very few problems with the banks’ transactions. An audit in San Francisco found that 84 percent of foreclosures were performed illegally, while another in North Carolina found “singular irregularities” in roughly three-quarters of the mortgages reviewed.

Lauren Lyster usually has good financial news shows, but she will never be taken seriously by conservatives in America because she works for the wrong network. Plus, I think her male viewers just tune in to stare at her boobies!
But then, the insiders had it wired. The reviewers included Promontory Financial Group, whose CEO was Comptroller of the Currency under President Bill Clinton. Then he became a senior attorney at Wall Street defense firm Covington & Burling. Small world: The Attorney General of the United States worked at Covington & Burling too.
Promontory and the other reviewers have an underlying conflict of interest: they’re reviewing their own client base. That’s the same conflict of interest that corrupted the for-profit “ratings agencies,” leading them to rate their clients’ toxic mortgage-backed securities as “AAA.”
BofA also agreed to sell the servicing rights to these mortgages … undoubtedly to another one of the banks sitting around that frequently-used table. The buyer will need to recoup their investment, of course — and loan servicers boost their income by overcharging the occupant of that empty chair.
So whose chair is it? You already know. That chair belongs to the borrower whose home value was artificially inflated by a bank-hired appraiser. It belongs to the homeowner who paid her mortgage on time every month, but was still hit with unjustified ‘servicing charges’ that caused her to fall behind … and lose her home.

We’re taught to do what’s right, but the banksters can totally discard what’s right in the name of profit. They have no laws. No morals. No souls. No mercy. That’s why we have to show them no mercy when the time comes.
It belongs to the bedroom communities whose residents invested their life’s savings in real estate whose value had been artificially pumped up by bank speculation. It belongs to millions of families — in Hendersonville, in West Garfield Park, in Baltimore and Jacksonville and Bakersfield and thousands of other communities across the country.
That chair belongs to the family who lost $50,000 or $75,000 or $100,000 when they lost their homes, and then got $1,200 back in that “big” $25 billion deal – and only then if they were “lucky.”
It belongs to all the Americans who lost trillions of dollars in housing value when the bank-created bubble finally burst, and who were then left holding the debt.
That chair belongs to all the people who can’t find work because nobody’s hiring. Nobody’s hiring because nobody’s buying. And nobody’s buying because so many people are struggling to pay their overpriced loans.

There’s no turning back. It’s time we all opened the box and claimed our chair at the table. But, that wouldn’t be conforming, would it?
That chair belongs to you, and it belongs to me. And as long as it’s empty these deals will all turn out the same. A small circle of friends will keep cutting the same cushy deals over and over again until we go to Washington and demand a change, this change:
No more deals. No more negotiations. Not until we’re in the room. Not until we’re seated in the chair, at the table, in the chambers of justice, that have always rightfully belonged to us — and only us.

Calico Blackie says:
Can’t you see? It’s the same old “dog and pony show” that we’re fed all the time. Smoke and mirrors. We’ll never have a chair at the table unless we TAKE IT.
Here’s a story and headline from 2009 for you (underlining mine)…..
Obama presses ‘fat-cat bankers’ to lend, but has no real leverage
Obama says he called on the bankers to find “ways to help creditworthy small and medium-size businesses get the loans that they need to open their doors, grow their operations, and create new jobs.”
But bankers, according to Obama, say they “face a shortage of creditworthy individuals and businesses.”
So did the meeting advance the ball at all on the nation’s credit issues? Obama called it a “candid and productive meeting,” but he did not come forth with any concrete deliverables. There were hints that the assembled men were telling the president what he wanted to hear – such as when they said they supported financial regulatory reform.
But, as Obama went on to note, “there’s a gap between “what I’m hearing here in the White House and the activities of lobbyists on behalf of these institutions or associations of which they’re a member up on Capitol Hill.”
Link is here: http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2009/1214/Obama-presses-fat-cat-bankers-to-lend-but-has-no-real-leverage
Calico Blackie says:
So, if THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES has “no real leverage” with them, how much power do you think we have with them?
KNOW THIS: OBAMA IS JUST A MIDDLE MANAGER FOR WALL STREET.
A flunky. A “butt-boy” that’s set-up to take the fall when their greed comes before the good of the nation (you & me).
Unless we organize and fight, we’ll NEVER have power with them.
And what’s with this BULLSHIT of helping small business open their doors and create jobs as if that’s some sort of “magic pill” that can cure all of our nations economic ills?
Check the facts: 85% of ALL small businesses fail within their first year, leaving the failed business owner buried in debt.
Plus, look at the jobs “created” by small businesses. Most of them are low-paying poverty level (or below) jobs with very little hope of advancement.
Hell, you would have a better chance, and better odds, going to Vegas and putting your start-up money on red or black.
But, it’s not just the banking industry that is screwing you for the sake of a dollar. Did you see this?
FAA to loosen fuel-tank safety rules, benefiting Boeing’s 787
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has quietly decided to loosen stringent fuel-tank safety regulations written after the 1996 fuel-tank explosion that destroyed flight TWA 800 off the coast of New York state.
The FAA proposes to relax the safeguards for preventing sparks inside the fuel tank during a lightning strike, standards the agency now calls “impractical” and Boeing says its soon-to-fly 787 Dreamliner cannot meet.
Instead of requiring three independent protection measures for any feature that could cause sparking, the revised policy would allow some parts to have just one safeguard.
Boeing has worked closely with the FAA to make the change in time for the 787 Dreamliner, whose airframe built of composite plastic makes lightning protection a special challenge.
The national union representing about 190 Seattle-based FAA engineers this past Tuesday submitted a formal critique to the agency, calling the new policy “an unjustified step backward in safety.”
In a lightning storm, the critique said, the less stringent rules could leave a commercial airliner “one failure away from catastrophe.”
FAA management, contradicting its own technical staff, argues that relaxing the spark-prevention standard is balanced by new technology to reduce fuel-tank flammability that will increase safety overall.
And Boeing experts insist the 787 will be safer in a lightning storm than any jet flying today.
Jim Hall, the former National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) chairman who oversaw the TWA 800 investigation, said he’s disappointed in the FAA but not surprised.
“It appears that management has overruled the judgment of the people that have day-to-day responsibility for the safety of aircraft,” Hall said.

Calico Blackie says:

How does that make you feel? But, don’t listen to me. I’m just a conspiracy nut for questioning my “betters”. After all, the media tells you so!
So, our choices are now whether to fly in a Scarebus, or a Screamliner aircraft?
I’ll take a 747 “Queen of the Skies” any day. But, some of those planes are getting old and they aren’t as safe as they should be.
After all, maintenance is expensive!
It’s cheaper for the airlines to just pay a settlement to crash victims families than it is to conscientiously maintain an entire fleet of aircraft.
And why not? What say do we have in the matter?
As I read today……
The 787 was an engineers nightmare. The people who started the program were doing everything they could to bypass the Union and farm out as much of the manufacturing as they could to save a few bucks to put in their own pockets.

Would you fly on a plane made with parts from this store? That’s what you’re doing when you get on a new airplane today, thanks to the FAA
They sold the manufacturing of one section to the Japanese, one to the Chinese, one to the Indonesians, a whole bunch of the avionics and flight control stuff to a couple German, Italian and French firms and then shipped the parts back to Everett for assembly.
What they got, was misaligned holes, fuselage sections that varied in size by as much as two inches, delaminated sections that couldn’t even be used and had to be scrapped, alloy parts that were the wrong alloy or flat-out counterfeited, and untraceable inspection stamps that didn’t seem to belong to anyone.
This plane has yet to seriously come back and bite Boeing in the ass, but it will.
It’s the DeHaviland Comet all over again.
Heh.
Remember when the US led manufacturing and innovation and employed the middle-class?
But then someone figured out that interferes with management compensation.
AND THERE WILL SOON BE NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT.
Oh yeah, you say we can protest?
You say we can protest in massive numbers and get “their” attention?
Yeah, sure we can. We can also die or be imprisoned in massive numbers when we willingly give up the means with which to fight back.
And, it’s for our own SAFETY!
Here ya go……
FOR YOUR SAFETY….
White House gun task force forging ahead
With a self-imposed end of January deadline to come up with a proposal regarding gun safety, Vice President Biden is accelerating efforts of the White House task force on gun violence with a series of meetings this week.
The president created the task force shortly after the mass shootings in Newtown, Conn., last month. He appointed Biden as the head of the task force and asked for recommendations by the end of January.
Upon returning from his long weekend in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Biden has numerous task force-related meetings scheduled this week. He will meet with officials of the video game industry and mental health experts, which the president said are important factors to examining gun violence. Additionally, Biden will meet with illegal gun opponents and pro-gun groups in an effort to build consent for action, CBSNews.com has confirmed.

Calico Blackie says:
It’s the “will of the people”! We’ll all be SAFER!
Do you honestly believe the banksters and their wholly-owned subsidiary in Washington DC really give a shit about our safety?
We can fly in “Screamliners” and die homeless on the streets.
We can send our children to die in meaningless wars for profit. Yet, we need gun control here?
C’mon. WAKE UP.
The government couldn’t give a damn about our safety, but they care very much about theirs. They want to take away our Constitutional right to defend ourselves against tyranny. Have you ever thought about that?
But, that’s ok. Call me a “conspiracy nut” if that makes you feel superior to me. I don’t care anymore.
But wait!……(drum roll)……….
And, the BIG headline from Fox “news”?………..
Severe flu season straining the resources of ERs around the country

Calico Blackie says:
Every year it’s the same old deal. Killer flu season. Killer West Nile Virus. Killer Hantavirus. Killer Norovirus. Killer BEES ARE COMING TO THE UNITED STATES!
Heh. Killer bees is my favorite scare tactic. I love reminding people that there can’t be anyone left south of the border what with all those killer bees flying around down there.
Why the scare tactics?
Because we believe it and it increases readership.
Plus, it has the added benefit of taking our minds off of the fact that more of our servicemen and women are dying of suicide than they are by bullets.
But, that’s someone else’s son or daughter. Not yours.
Whereas we all can get the flu.

Or, we can all end up as jelly brained fat asses from sitting on our butts all day while the world goes to hell, and end up dying having NEVER LIVED
We can also all get bent over the chair by the banksters and end up starving on the streets.
We can all end up dying in a plane crash because the corporations put profit ahead of human life.
We can protest for human rights and democracy and end up as slaves in the prison industrial complex, making iPhones for our new Chinese masters too.
Is that what you want for your children?
Well…….
At least they’ll be SAFE!
But, yeah….
I’m just a “conspiracy nut”
Think about it.
