It’s Pearl Harbor Day in The United States.
This is the “Day that will live in infamy” as the day the US was sneak-attacked in Hawaii by the Japanese armed forces.
We’ve got to fight to preserve the freedom that those veterans fought for back then.
Don’t let them have died in vain.
There was another sneak attack “knock on the door in the middle of the night” early this morning.
This time, the attack on our freedom was in San Francisco.

Police dismantle Occupy SF camp in early morning raid
Another sneak attack with overwhelming force
Police this morning have dismantled the “Occupy SF” camp that was erected in October at Justin Herman Plaza along San Francisco’s Embarcadero, according to an Occupy SF member.
Ryan, who declined to give his last name, said riot police arrived around 2 a.m. and announced campers had five minutes to clear out of the plaza.
“That left no time to get personal objects,” he said.

Hartford Police Chief Daryl K. Roberts said that the site was cleared to ensure public safety and that occupiers had lost sight of their original purpose.

How can Washoe County School District reach 1,800 homeless kids?
The dismissal bell rings. Students race to the doors, bound for home. The problem? In Washoe County, approximately one in 35 of those children doesn’t have a home.
With nearly one in two students in Washoe County’s schools coming from low-income families, a steadily emerging subpopulation of the district’s more than 62,000 students is homeless, having reached a high of more than 1,900 in the 2007-08 school year. The numbers have remained above 1,800 the past two school years.

“Sometimes, we have families that are chronically homeless, and they get to know the system pretty well; but there are families that have never had to access these resources, and so we have to really be out looking for those families,” said Rechelle Murillo, coordinator for the school district’s Children in Transition program.
“We have seen an increase of families that have never been homeless before,” Murillo said.
“They’ve lost homes due to foreclosures and have been displaced.”

This is NOT a political issue. It’s an issue of economics in this country and mental health of an individual. We will be seeing more of this as people are driven to madness by desperation.
BOTH political parties are equally guilty of the mess we’re in.
This womans actions, while deplorable, must be addressed. If you don’t have an understanding of how she could be driven to do such a thing, you have no appreciation or understanding for the bottom of the barrel despair and hopelessness this woman was experiencing.
More and more people are experiencing this every day across the country.

Two more elderly women with medical conditions have come forward claiming they were strip-searched by Transportation Security Administration [TSA] agents at JFK Airport on Nov. 29, bringing to three the number of senior passengers who allege they were forced to remove their clothes at the New York airport last Tuesday.
Ruth Sherman, 88, told ABC News she was about to board a 3:30 p.m. Jet Blue flight to Florida after visiting her family for Thanksgiving when two female TSA officers ordered her into a private room.
The great-grandmother of seven has worn a colostomy bag since undergoing cancer surgery two years ago. She claims the agents noticed the bulge from the bag and that prompted the additional screening.

A local man has been accused of shooting an occupied trailer in the 900 block of McCue in October with a .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol.
