Where is the “Choice” When You’ve Got Nothing Left to Lose?
on April 3, 2012 at 12:44 pmGreetings from Calico Blackie!
Another presidential primary election is upon us. This time, it’s in Wisconsin.
Squeal like a pig, citizen!
Whether you follow the party line of the Conservative AM Talk Radio hosts…..
You know, the ones who have been slavishly doing their master’s bidding in an effort to ensure that as large a segment as possible remains loyal to their overseers……
Or whether you follow the left’s views as espoused on RT Television with programs such as The Alyona Show and The Big Picture……
I’ve got news for you.
Dear partisan hacks.
The next president of the US will be as immaterial and detrimental or helpful as the last.
Why?
Because the president of the US is only the guy who smiles and greets you at the door at a nice restaurant.
And not much else.
He really doesn’t do much except let a more or less malicious pack of thieves through a different door, and further ensure that the Koch Brothers plan that we are currently on the ass end of – to gut this country and turn every square acre of it into a debt note – is on schedule.
When we get angry enough to force REAL change….
When we get to elect who runs the Federal Reserve, the FTC, the SEC and Bank of America….
When we, the people begin to matter again to the 1% because we’ve FORCED those greedy bastards to change their ways…..
When WE, THE PEOPLE bring down the Wall Street banksters….
That’s when we will start to win the struggle to take back our country.
Which is what Occupy Wall Street has been protesting about. Get it?
But, there’s a problem…………
The problem isn’t that we’re not pissed off enough to take to the streets. We’ve already done that.
The problem is that change will not come quickly enough to matter.
What worked in the past will probably not work now or in the future.
It will be too late for society in another 5-10 years.
We will have been crushed, killed and imprisoned.
WE NEED CHANGE NOW!
The 1% knows this and is doing everything in their pig-like power to prevent any change that might take one dime away from their billions.
They don’t care about our future. They only care about themselves.
They have no honor, no loyalty, no conscience, and no patriotism. They only care about money.
MONEY IS THEIR GOD.
The 1% and their tools in the mainstream media have, from day one, been telling us the Occupy Movement is losing steam. Telling us that nobody pays attention to the Movement anymore. Telling us nobody cares.
Here is the latest from the toady knob gobblers over at the NY Times:
Less Visible Occupy Movement Looks for Staying Power

"I work for the NY Times. I have no pride, no honor, only greed and love for my 1% masters who enable me to have this car. I couldn't ask for a better pimp!"
“Six months after the Occupy movement first used protests and encampments to turn the nation’s attention to economic inequality, the movement needs to find new ways to gain attention or it will most likely fade to the edges of the political discourse, according to supporters and critics.”
“Driven off the streets by local law enforcement officials, who have evicted protesters from their encampments and arrested thousands, the movement has seen a steep decline in visibility.”
“That has left Occupy without bases of operations in the heart of many cities and has forced protesters to spend time defending themselves in court, deterring many from taking to the streets again.”

They have large WEEKLY marches. Do you hear about it? No. See what the toadies at NY Times say? Who do you think their master's are?
“In Oakland, Calif., which at one point last year appeared to be one of Occupy’s strongholds, activists have had less than a handful of marches this year and no longer have any encampments in the city, according to a police official there.”
“The movement’s staying power will depend on the success of several events planned for the coming weeks.”
“Despite recent actions that have fizzled, including an Occupy Corporations day in February, organizers are planning a strike and demonstrations on May 1, International Labor Day.”

Calico Blackie says:
It’s a common tactic. Five minutes after OWS started, the corporate press was already saying it was all over, nothing to see here, time to go home.
I love it when an article tells me what to think. Especially when it’s “THE OCCUPY MOVEMENT IS LOSING MOMENTUM” according to some people.
It’s just more sad efforts by the 1% to define the narrative so they can try to kill it off when nobody is looking.
Also, it’s not really convincing when you know the media (in this case, the NY Times) is lying, for the most part. It also assumes that the media is even on top of things anymore.
It’s sad, because if the 1% keeps up with their “ignore the problem and it will go away” philosophy, the PEOPLE will eventually reach the boiling point.
Then all it will take is one spark.
So, here is a warning from Calico Blackie:
If you want to talk about getting things actually changed in America, the only actions (yeah, yeah…Gandhi, King) that has actually rapidly “changed” anything effectively in a decent time period are:
a) riots
b) destruction of property
c) threats of violence
d) actual violence (war)
These things of course, are not things anyone really *wants* (unless they are legitimately insane)….
They are historically, what things tend to dissolve into when the voices of the population are ignored and marginalized. Particularly in America.
It’s something of a cultural tradition here.
I honestly don’t believe anymore that any sort of protesting will change a damn thing here. I don’t think banks, Wall Street or even elected and paid-off officials care what a bunch of people do on a sidewalk.
I wish they would though.
This is how people ask for change politely and civilly. They can afford to do it right now. Things haven’t completely hit the fan……yet.

OK cops....Time to join us. The choice is yours. Democracy and freedom for the people...Or the fascist corporatocracy of the 1%? Choose wisely
I’m not looking forward to what will happen WHEN things really start to slide downhill though.
Humanity, as a general rule, does not simply stand there and slowly starve and die simply because someone else tells them to.
We WILL overpower the 1% and their armies.
We WILL return to a Government of the People, by the People, and FOR THE PEOPLE.
We will rise up.
But the clock is ticking and time is running out.
OCCUPY WALL STREET

"Your life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness? All outdated. The best we can do is $20 bucks for it, and be glad you're getting that"
Oh, by the way….If any of you give a shit…
I will know within this week whether or not I will be joining the legions of homeless people out there that get ignored while you’re watching Pawn Stars.
Got nothing left to lose.
Summer is coming.
Stay tuned……
Calico Blackie
