SHUT DOWN THE PORTS!

Long Beach this morning

Today’s the day for National Action.

Either we’ll be successful, or we’ll go home to regroup and plan our next move.

If we’re successful, we might, for the first time in years, see the National Guard called in on their fellow citizens of the United States to protect the interests of the 1%.

How will they react?

Occupy Protesters Swarm Port Of Oakland

Protesters have blocked at least two entrances to the Port of Oakland this morning as part of a planned all-day West Coast port blockade.

Hundreds of protesters blocked off the entrance to Berths 30-32 Monday morning, and Alameda County sheriff’s deputies were keeping an eye on hundreds more who had gathered at the entrance to Berths 55-56.

Oakland early this morning

Activists in Houston are also planning to shut down the port there, and even landlocked Occupy groups in Denver and Salt Lake City are planning to disrupt Walmart distribution centers Monday.

At least 2 entrances remain blocked by Occupy protesters at Port of Oakland; no truck traffic moving in or out.

On Twitter:

Portland port partially shut down. Police attacking protesters in LA and making arrests in NYC.

Police arresting protestors in mass in New York right now. Livestreamer was just arrested and went off air.

Portland Police with their ice cream truck

Calico Blackie says:

Remember when ice cream trucks brought joy to little kids everywhere?

Then, drug dealers started using them.

Now, a new breed of criminal is using them against citizens of the United States.

Using nondescript delivery trucks as arrest vehicles was a common tactic of the NKVD during the rule of Stalin in the USSR.

It looks like our police forces are taking lessons from Josef Stalin.

If we don’t succeed with this movement, one day our Grandchildren are gonna ask us:

Back to work, grandkids. Is this what we want for their future?

“HOW THE HELL DID YOU NOT SEE THE WARNING SIGNS??”

And then the “RETURN TO WORK” claxon will sound, and all the kids will submissively line up and march single-file to the mines for another 18 hour shift.

The “Patriot” Act?

How’s “feeling safe” working out for ya, citizen?

More about this tomorrow.

Short column today.

Lots happening.

The cop with the pepper spray at UC Davis is Lt. John Pike of University of California Police. 530-752-3989

Officer Pike

He should be fired and prosecuted for assault.

Make an example of him to show our police around the country what can happen to them if they use brutality on citizens.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET, NOR WILL WE ACCEPT A “SINCERE” APOLOGY.

OCCUPY WALL STREET

We must demonstrate our resolve to protect freedom!

FIGHT FOR OUR FAMILIES AND THEIR FUTURE
