If They’re Stomping On Our Faces – PICK UP A SWORD
on February 16, 2012 at 11:59 amGreetings to the Resistance!
“If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever.” - George Orwell
How much longer does the 1% think we will allow ourselves to be used like cattle to satisfy their unbridled greed?
How much longer do they think we’ll willingly go to die in their wars for profit?
How much longer do they think we will tolerate their prison industrial complex?
How much longer do the banksters and mega-corporations think we will take their attempts to make an education so expensive that only the 1% can afford to be educated?

Join us, you members of the police. Don't just be the tools of legalized organized crime. We're fighting for America and YOU too
How much longer do they think we will put up with their boot stomping our faces in an attempt to crush the working class and impoverish and enslave us all?
How much longer will the “average Joe” take it when their pensions are being raided by a bunch of greedy pigs and they’re forced onto the streets and into prisons?
How much more will we take before we all rise up?
No more wage and benefit concessions so that the CEO’s can get massive bonuses and the corporations can post record profits.
NO MORE!
When did it change from the days when making a good profit was enough, to now, where it has to be a record profit every time, no matter how badly the workers suffer?
How much longer will we, the people, either be ignored or be crushed for demanding a better country for all? How much longer before we put down our protest signs and pick up a sword?
It’s coming if our demands continue to be met with police violence. It’s coming if our Government of the PEOPLE, by the PEOPLE, and for the PEOPLE continues to be bastardized by the greedy few on Wall Street and their wholly-owned subsidiary in Washington DC.
Mark my words, if we don’t see changes very soon:
One day, a line of protesters will face off against a wall of riot cops and there will be the usual rubber bullets and tear gas fired at the patriots who are trying to restore liberty to the people, only this time, the riot cops will be attacked from the rear, either by other demonstrators, or by the Black Bloc, wielding clubs and molotov cocktails.
HOW MUCH MORE OF THE BOOT STOMPING OUR FACES DO THEY THINK WE WILL TAKE BEFORE WE OVERWHELM THEM?
The 1% is making a HUGE mistake by driving more and more of us into poverty, thus creating an entire population with nothing left to lose. It’s time they begin to listen to us, instead of trying to crush us.
RISE UP, BEFORE THIS ORWELLIAN VISION OF THE FUTURE THE 1% HAS FOR US BECOMES A REALITY. OCCUPY! MAYBE THERE IS STILL TIME FOR PEACEFUL CHANGE.
OCCUPY OCCUPY OCCUPY!
They’re still trying to enslave the Canadians.
From Occupy Canada
“Here is the text of the Bill C-30, tabled this morning in the House of Commons.”
“Among its provisions, it would allow police to obtain customer data and other information from your Internet service provider (ISP) and other cellular providers without first obtaining a warrant from a judge.”
“NDP MP Charlie Angus calls this “an unprecedented bill that undermines the privacy rights of Canadians.”

From New York:
Making Worlds: An OWS Forum on the Commons
Thursday at 5:00pm until Saturday at 8:00pm
“The Occupy movement is entering a new phase, one in which many of us feel the need to combine renewed engagement through direct actions and mobilizations with a deep reflection on the strategic objectives of our movement.”
“In order to fulfill this need, the organizing committee of Making Worlds* is inviting all the Occupy supporters and sympathizers as well as other organizations to participate in this Forum on the politics of the commons.”

WHY DO WE OCCUPY?
From The BBC and The Occupy Wall Street Press
America’s homeless resort to tent cities
“Just off the side of a motorway on the fringes of the picturesque town of Ann Arbor, Michigan, a mismatched collection of 30 tents tucked in the woods has become home – home to those who are either unemployed, or whose wages are so low that they can no longer afford to pay rent.”
“Conditions are unhygienic. There are no toilets and electricity is only available in the one communal tent where the campers huddle around a wood stove for warmth in the heart of winter. Ice weighs down the roofs of tents, and rain regularly drips onto the sleeping campers’ faces.”
“Tent cities have sprung up in and around at least 55 American cities – they represent the bleak reality of America’s poverty crisis.”
“According to census data, 47 million Americans now live below the poverty line – the most in half a century – fuelled by several years of high unemployment.”

Then, there’s this cheery little item in the news:
From MSNBC
Price of gas up nearly 12 cents in last 3 weeks
The average price for a gallon of gasoline in the United States rose nearly 12 cents in the past three weeks to about $3.51, due in part to higher prices for North Sea crude oil, according to the nationwide Lundberg Survey.
The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline rose 11.57 cents to $3.5101 as of February 10, the survey of about 2,500 gasoline stations in the continental United States found.

The news from England:
Millions Now Can’t Afford to Retire
“Experts say at least 50,000 people will have their hopes dashed this year alone due to soaring living costs and falling pension payouts.”
“The crisis has been fuelled by volatile stock market prices and a shaky global economy which has eaten into private pension pots, Isas and other investments.”

Calico Blackie says:
I can hear it now. Rich people all over England saying “those old people made poor choices in life. Screw them. Pass me another helping of pudding dear. Ta!” I can foresee the day when those people will be dragged out of their mansions by the 99% and ARE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for their blind piggishness if they don’t start trying to fix things over there.
But there’s good news here! I feel better already………
GM annual profit soars, 4th quarter disappoints
“It was the highest annual profit ever for the automaker, which emerged from bankruptcy protection in 2009 after a government-led bailout.”
“Full-year revenue rose 11 percent to $105 billion.”
“North America led the way with a $7.2 billion pretax profit. But problems surfaced that could hurt futureearnings. GM lost $700 million before taxes in Europe, and lost $100 million in South America.”
“We obviously have work to do still and a long way to get to the objectives we ultimately want to get to,” GM Chief Financial Officer Dan Ammann told reporters.”

Calico Blackie says:
Now that GM has posted record profits, how many of the concessions that the workers were forced to make in order to keep their jobs do you think Mr. Ammann will give back to the workforce?
How much more of the boot stomping our faces do they expect us to take?
How much longer will our demands for an end to corruption in government and a fairer distribution of the wealth in this country be ignored?
How much longer before we put down our signs and pick up a sword?
That’s a decision each of us has to make.
Until then, we OCCUPY and hope.
OCCUPY WALL STREET!
We are the 99%
Calico Blackie
