Greetings from Calico Blackie!
We’ve been conditioned over the years to believe what we’re told and to follow the path of least resistance.
Many of us even go so far as to believe that somehow our credit score is a key indicator of what type of human being we are.
We’ve been conditioned to equate a high credit score with goodness.
Nowadays, when you apply for a job, most places run a background check on you and if you have a “bad” credit score, you don’t get hired. So, having money and good credit is “good” while being broke and having a bad credit rating is “bad.”
See what they did there? Rich=Good. Poor=Bad.
Lost in all this is what type of human being you really are.
We can’t help it.
The lesson gets pounded into us from the cradle to the grave, just like the concept of winning being the all-important thing in life.
Oh sure, we’re told “It doesn’t matter whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game” but we all know that’s bullshit told to losers to make them feel better about being losers.
If you don’t win, you’re a loser!
As kids growing up, we all knew at least one kid who cheated to “win” whether it was cheating at Monopoly, or cheating at tests in school. If they didn’t get caught, THEY WON.
They didn’t care if they were screwing their friends or if the test was graded on a curve and they shafted everyone else in the class….
THEY WON AND YOU LOST!
Nowadays, in the adult world, we call this type of behavior “Business Ethics” and we justify it by saying it’s necessary to cheat to win.
It makes me wonder if Jamie Dimon and his bankster cronies cheated their “friends” at Monopoly or cheated on tests when they were growing up?
Just, as many serial killers abused animals when they were growing up, I’ll bet if a study was done on the childhoods of cold-hearted and ruthless businesspeople, it would find that they grew up cheating their fellow students and friends.
They learned at an early age that cheating and cruelty had it’s rewards and they never were able to equate fairness with goodness. WINNING IS EVERYTHING, AND WE ACCEPT THIS PHILOSOPHY.
We’re taught to be a gracious winner and to not be a sore loser and it carries over into adulthood.
The difference is that it’s not a kids game anymore when you’re an adult.
The office ass-kisser gets the promotion and you don’t. Or worse, the office ass-kisser sees you as a threat and gets you fired. But don’t be a sore loser!
The new boss wants to get rid of the old employees in his department and bring in his own new “team.” Never mind that the old “team” worked faithfully and efficiently for the company. People start getting set up to be laid off or fired and are replaced with butt-nuzzlers.
But, don’t be a sore loser!
Be a “team player” right up to the bitter end and cheerfully accept the fact you lost and now you and your family ARE facing bankruptcy and homelessness.
And for what?
Because some heartless prick wanted to be surrounded by his own team of sycophants, and didn’t care how many lives he ruined in the process to achieve his goal.
It’s good for business.
We convolute definitions of admirable traits such as “ambition” and “drive” and twist them to cloak malice and greed to somehow make screwing people to win alright in our eyes.
It’s like saying you watch beach volleyball for the skill and athleticism, thus making it alright, when in reality you’re just salivating over the butts.
Face it: It’s a meatshow.
Most people watch it for it’s softcore porn value. But, we’re not watching porn. We’re watching the Olympics!
We’re not screwing our fellow human beings. We’re conducting good business!
It’s called: “Business Ethics” to placate us and to ease the consciences (if they have any) of the pricks, and we accept that. After all, we wouldn’t want to be called “sore losers” or “complainers” or “malcontents.”
It has been ingrained into our society to just sit back and enjoy getting screwed.
On another note….
Japan nuclear disaster caused mutated butterflies
TOKYO — “Researchers in Japan have found signs of mutation in butterflies, signaling one of the first indications of change to the local ecosystem as a result of last year’s nuclear accident in Fukushima, according to one of the first studies on the genetic effects of the incident.”
“Joji Otaki from the University of the Ryukyus in Okinawa, who led the research, collected 144 commonly-found pale grass blue butterflies two months after the March 2011 accident at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear plant.”
“Initial results indicated that roughly 12 percent of the butterflies showed signs of abnormalities, such as disfigurement in their antennas, smaller-sized wings, change in color patterns and indented eyes, Otaki said.”
“Even more alarming, when he collected another 238 samples six months later he found that those abnormalities had increased to 28 percent and the mutations had doubled to 52 percent in their offspring.”
Calico Blackie says:
So, People of Japan, just accept the fact that you got irradiated again, and this time at the hands of your own greedy power company. Don’t be concerned. Don’t complain. You lost, they won. It was “business.”
There, people of Japan and all “little” people of the world. Doesn’t that make you feel better now?
Who’s being a sore loser? We can only be losers if we accept defeat.
THIS IS WHAT OUR SYSTEM HAS BECOME AND WE’VE GOT TO CHANGE IT
