Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein President?

Greetings to the thinkers and visionaries out there who are not blind to what is happening in our country and are not afraid to speak out against it!
Americans love their freedom and lately, those freedoms are coming under direct attack by our “leaders.”
Leaders who have sold their souls to big business.
If Obama signs The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), it will prove to the world that the USA has become a Wall Street dictatorship, with the only difference between us and 1933 Germany being the “fuhrer” changes every 4-8 years.
It will prove that we are only being given the illusion that whoever gets elected matters to the middle and lower classes in this country.
I saw the above poster a few years ago and thought: “No. The powers that be will be much more covert about trashing the Constitution and taking away out rights.”
I was wrong.
Mainstream Media has convinced many Americans that our government will always act in the best interests of the masses.
They’re wrong.
Our politicians will always act in the best interests of Wall Street because they’ve been bought and paid for.
People will act against their best interests to buy what they think is a little bit of security and to not upset the status-quo. That’s why we keep electing the same anti-American bought off criminals to office.
Case in point? This article:
“Re-electing our politicians that voted for NDAA would be like chickens voting for Colonel Sanders”
“The Patriot Act and NDAA, were not passed for less than a dozen terrorists, most of them set up by the FBI. The government’s provocation of several countries did not produce the expected results.”
“They were passed for US Citizens who refuse to be docile. When one thinks of Guantanamo, the POW camp, being set up to house foreign militants who rebel against US domination, the whole idea is ridiculous. The ultimate enemy is us, the herd, and keeping us under control, without disturbing the 1%.”
“Re-electing politicians who voted for these repressive laws, is like a flock of chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.”

But, we’re not all “chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.”
What NDAA means folks, is that our government has finally dropped the gloves on us, and dropped the myth that our prisons are there to “rehabilitate.” Some of us are already aware of that fact.
So, what can we do about it?
Fight for prison reform and PROTEST against the police state we’re becoming.
From ABC News:
Occupy the Caucus, “People’s Caucus”
“The nation’s first “People’s Caucus” kicks off the Occupy the Caucus campaign in downtown Des Moines where occupy protestors from all over the country have come to Iowa to express their concerns for the Iowa Caucus and the future of the U.S.”
Calico Blackie says:
It’s now or never for America. Either we succeed, or we spiral down into the darkness of oppression and become even more of a police state.
Did anybody see this article?
From The San Francisco Bay Guardian
Occupy and the hostile media
“Every progressive movement in U.S. history was portrayed negatively by mainstream media at the time it was happening.”
“It’s no surprise that the media portray the Occupy Wall Street movement in the same light.”
“During the Montgomery bus boycott, mainstream media outlets interviewed black folks who were against it and talked about how the boycott was misguided and hurt the local economy.”
“The day after the boycott started, the Montgomery Advertiser ran a story featuring the manager of the bus lines saying that bus drivers were being shot at and rocks were being thrown at them.”
“During the rest of the civil rights movement, protesters who were fire-hosed and otherwise brutalized were called “violent protesters” in the mainstream media, which again featured interviews with people saying that the protests were wrongheaded.”

Just look at those "entitled white kids complaining." Look at all the "corporate" items they're using. They should be grateful to be sent to fight in a rich mans war
“During the Anti-Vietnam War movement, the mainstream media portrayed protesters as out of touch, violent, and dirty.”
“There was a picture in the San Francisco Chronicle of a guy who was throwing back a tear gas canister that had been shot at the peaceful crowd.”
“This was shown as proof of protesters being wild, out of touch, and violent.”
“There has never been any strike, work stoppage, or union action that was supported by the mainstream media at the time that it was happening.”
The mainstream press didn’t support the Anti-Apartheid movement and doesn’t support the boycott, disinvestment and sanctions movement for Palestine.

Demonstrator (L) avoids bull horn swung toward her by San Francisco police Captain Charles Beene as he runs down the street forcing protestors back unto the sidewalk during an anti-apartheid protest outside buildings where Univeristy of California Regents were rejecting complete divestiture of investments in South African-related businesses on June 21, 1985.
Calico Blackie was there for that one, just as he’s here for the Occupy Movement.
Just as he will always be there when our freedom is threatened or when we’re being sent overseas to fight a war for profit.
The mainstream press is always on the wrong side of history because it’s always on the side of the status quo.
Leave the light on for me in GITMO, because they’ll never make me shut up.
Finally, there’s this bit of news:
From Yahoo News:
Happy 75th birthday, Mary Tyler Moore
“Mary Tyler Moore turns 75 today, but to millions of Americans, she’s still 32, forever driving from her small hometown to Minnesota’s Twin Cities on a sunny freeway in 1970.”
“How will she make it on her own?”
“This world is awfully big, and girl, this time she’s all alone.”
Calico Blackie says:
“This world is awfully big, and girl, this time she’s all alone.”
I wonder how she would fare in today’s world?
Would she be successful or, burdened by the massive costs of an education, and a glutted job market, would she have ended up being “Stripper Mary” with idiots telling her she should have “majored in something useful instead of getting a liberal arts degree” as they stuff dollar bills in her g-string?
It’s a different world out there now, Mary Richards.
We now know that Norman Rockwell’s America was a myth.
I wonder how many young girls the Mary Tyler Moore Show convinced to major in Journalism? But, it was a good show.
Propaganda, but a good show nonetheless.
It made us feel good.
It spoke to the American Dream of “work hard and conform and you’ll make it.”
Sadly, it would be a lie if it aired today.
Anyway, happy birthday Mary. Freedom and opportunity was fun while it lasted.
Expose the lie of the “American Dream.”
Expose the fact that our political parties are nothing more than Wall Street pawns.
DON’T LET US SLIP ANY FURTHER INTO FASCISM. OPPOSE NDAA. KEEP FIGHTING FOR OUR RIGHTS!
On that note:
OCCUPY THE IOWA CAUCUS AND OCCUPY WASHINGTON DC ON JANUARY 17th
and
Don’t forget about Officer Pike of the UC Davis PD. Let’s never forget how he and other police officers have treated peaceful protesters. He should be arrested and tried for assaulting the public.
Keep fighting!
United, we win!
Calico Blackie
