Wall Street wins again!

It’s finally raining here on the Klamath River and I’m glad. My small garden is loving it, although the chickens are not amused.

Another candidates debate is scheduled to happen and I’ll be watching for the reactions of we, the people, on twitter and facebook.

It’s all so predictable. It’s all so pointless.

It’s all so staged and yet people just can’t seem to realize it.

Maybe it’s because we’re predictable too. It’s much more comfortable to sit back and actually believe the debates matter than it is to think the unthinkable thought that we’ve lost control. Maybe Wall Street really does own us and our future and we’re just milk cows.

OH NO! YOU MEAN YOU’RE ACTUALLY ASKING US TO THINK?

Maybe it’s easier for the average citizen to “go with the flow” instead of resisting, even if that “flow” is actually a swirl down the toilet.

Maybe critical thinking is a thing of the past.

Case in point:

Nowadays, whenever I say anything critical of our system or government there is a rush by some of my fellow Americans to dismiss me as a “Commie leftist crybaby”.

The people that call me these names are the very same people who fill their homes with cheap Chinese made Walmart junk they don’t need and happily support the oppressive Communist government of China and the offshoring of American jobs by buying the junk.

Is this person a critical thinker? Doesn’t he realize that it’s all a Wall Street owned propaganda machine?

In effect, these name callers are selling our country and us to China. If they’re ok with that, why do they consider the word “commie” to be such an insult when they’re actually more “commie” than I am?

Don’t they realize that the Chinese and their buddies on Wall Street hold no allegiance to America and that Wall Street is only too happy to sell America down the river if it means bigger profits for them?

Don’t they realize that when they get angry and scream about “illegal aliens stealing our jobs” and yet say nothing about the fat cats hiring the aliens, that their logic makes no sense?

Or, even worse, they say that the fat cat is “being a good businessman” by hiring cheap labor here while offshoring manufacturing to other countries.

They say that it’s “good business” for fat cats to shelter their money in foreign banks to avoid paying their “fair share” of taxes which would contribute to our nations infrastructure.

They ask me: “What do you have against being a successful business man?”

POVERTY AND RUIN. That’s what our politicians and Wal-Street are forcing on us

There is nothing wrong with being a successful businessman as long as you’re not screwing a country and it’s citizens to be successful.

There is nothing wrong with being a successful businessman as long as you’re not sleeping with the enemy (or, governments we’ve been told are our enemies) to be successful.

But, what do we do?

Hell, we vote for these cocksuckers!

We fight among ourselves while the fat cats laugh at our stupidity.

But, it’s always been that way.

Rile up the masses, wave the flag, tell us it’s for the good of the country and we will go in whichever direction the mainstream media and their corporate masters tell us to go.

THINK ABOUT IT. IT MAKES NO SENSE.

What potential good for humanity lies buried in these graves?

We have always been at war with Vietnamistan.

I wonder how many people who are so eager to send our youth to die in some bogus and needless war for profit, realize when they get sick, that maybe the cure for their cancer or other terminal disease is lying in a grave in some foreign land?

THINK ABOUT IT. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO DIE?

Now that all you right wing “conservatives” out there are rolling around having apoplectic fits at my “commie” logic, all I can say is:

GET STUFFED. IF I FORCED YOU TO THINK A LITTLE BIT, THAT’S GOOD.

We’ve all thought it, but we can get fired for saying it. Freedom of speech?

And, if you’re a leftist liberal……

Stop being so damned smug. You’ve bought the lie too.

People will rail against the evils of smoking and “big tobacco” and then drink themselves to oblivion.

Or worse, they will rail against the evils of drunk driving and then take a handful of prescription pills and go careening down the freeway at 75 miles per hour.

Why?

Because big pharma and their doctors said it was ok.

People will fight for our right to free speech as long as they agree with the speaker.

YOU CAN ALL GET STUFFED TOO.  IF I FORCED YOU TO THINK A LITTLE BIT, THAT’S GOOD.

Both “leftists” and “rightists” will buy any lie as long as it’s convenient for “their” side and they don’t have to think too hard about it.

Boehner and Pelosi. Yep. The sparks will fly tonight between the Democrats and Republicans without us ever realizing that the maggots in DC are in bed together

“Tuesday night’s presidential debate will feature a town hall-style format, where the two candidates will answer questions from a selected group of voters on a wide range of issues.”

 ”Instead of the two candidates sitting together at a table, or standing behind lecterns, with a moderator directing the discussion, President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney will talk directly to individual voters and attempt to answer their questions and concerns.”

Participants in this format will be selected by the Gallup polling organization, their questions will be submitted to the moderator, CNN’s Candy Crowley, but asked by the individual voters themselves.

When was the last time a candidate broke down the numbers and saw for themselves how far a Wal-Mart wage would go in rent, groceries, utility bills and transportation in the average American city? How far would 10/hr, 20/hr, 30/hr go?

DO YOU THINK THEY KNOW OR CARE?

Why isn’t either candidate addressing the NDAA and the Patriot Act and the loss of freedom in America?

Why isn’t either candidate addressing the rise of the Prison Industrial Complex, or the need and justification for a continuation of a MASSIVE Military Industrial Complex when we’re faced with a crumbling infrastructure and massive homelessness and unemployment?

Why isn’t either candidate addressing the fact that we are sending BILLIONS of dollars in foreign aid to dictators in countries that hate us?

Why isn’t either candidate addressing THE FACT THAT THE FOOD WE’RE EATING IS BECOMING UNSAFE TO EAT?

Why isn’t either candidate proposing CONCRETE SOLUTIONS?

All they’re actually saying is “Vote for me because my plan is better” without giving us any solid idea of what their plan really is.

THINK ABOUT IT.

WHY DON’T THEY ADDRESS ISSUES THAT REALLY MATTER?

Why? Because each candidate is handed a script given to them by Wal-Street and they have to follow that script.

There isn’t any “Magic Genie” or politician that’s going to save us. Those days are over. We’ve got to do it ourselves

Truth is, we’re screwed.

And we will continue to get screwed if we don’t each do something about it NOW.

In this maximum profit era where we all get screwed for the further advancement of the filthy rich, our country has become ruled by Wal-Street.

Left, Right, or in-between….

We should be asking each candidate what we each can do to take our country back from Wal-Street, and an answer of “Vote for Me” ain’t gonna cut it.

Think about it.
