Greetings from Calico Blackie in Rural America!

Is there blood in your 401k portfolio? Do you REALLY care?

Think about what you are doing with your life

The next time you read a headline where:

Young people are dying in foreign wars for profit…

Where people like you and me are suffering in poverty at the hands of Wall Street and their wholly-owned subsidiary in Washington DC…

Where a heartless bank is foreclosing on a Veteran or a cancer patient…

Where old folks are falling victims to predatory financial systems…

Where people are denied life-saving care because of their lack of money….

Where we’re getting poisoned by the food we eat and yet our government sides with the corporations instead of We, the People….

The very next time you read a disturbing headline such as what I’ve described above and say: THIS IS AN OUTRAGE…

GO TO THE MIRROR AND ASK YOURSELF: HOW’S MY 401K DOING?

Did you see this story?:

Wells Fargo to Stage 4 breast cancer patient: ‘Full payments or we foreclose’

"Who gives a damn about poor cancer patients? My stock portfolio enabled me to buy my tart all these presents, AND my 401k is solid"

“Cindi Davis has been fighting breast cancer for four years, and now her health struggle means she’s also fighting to keep herself off the street.”

“The North Carolina woman and her husband Kirk have been in and out of foreclosure since 2008, according to WCNC-TV, and they say the cost of Cindi’s medical treatment means they can’t afford to pay the high rate the bank is demanding to let them stay in their home.”

“They want us to make a house payment of almost $900 a month,” Cindi told the station of their lender, Wells Fargo bank. “We can afford maybe half that. I pay $1,100 a month in prescription medications.”

“The couple says they have tried to work with Wells Fargo, even sending notes from Cindi’s doctors explaining her condition, but haven’t been able to come to a workable solution.”

Too big to fail? BURN IT DOWN AND START OVER

“They’re just going to put us out and it’s like, we are willing to pay what we can pay, but it’s not enough,” Cindi said.

“Her cancer is in her lungs, lymph nodes and on her liver and she’s gone through a double mastectomy and multiple chemotherapy treatments, but Cindi has handled her disease like a fighter.”

“I have only cried once and it was the day I was diagnosed, and after that I said, ‘No. I’m not a quitter. I am going to beat this,’” she said.

“When contacted for comment by WCNC, Wells Fargo declined to talk about Davis’s specific case but issued the following statement.”

“We understand that many of our customers may face challenges beyond their mortgage payment, so we often work with local housing counselors and other non-profits that can help determine if any other assistance may be available,” the bank said.

Too bad greed can't be cured with a pill. It's got to be purged with fire

“It’s important for customers to continue to work with their servicers and advise them of any changes in their situation. In assisting customers we must follow investor guidelines. These guidelines determine the kind and amount of assistance a borrower may receive. We work hard to help our customers maintain homeownership and view foreclosure as a last resort.”

“Fearing the worst, Cindi and Kirk say they may have to sleep on the street, if the bank won’t grant them any leniency.”

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE

Does YOUR 401K include Wells Fargo stock? If so, YOU’RE GUILTY TOO of being a heartless ass that throws sick people out of their houses.

How about this story?…….

Deadly black lung surges back in coal country

"Who cares about the miners? My 401k portfolio is full of mining stocks and it's doing just fine"

“Ray Marcum bears the marks of a bygone era of coal mining. At 83, his voice is raspy, his eastern Kentucky accent thick and his forearms leathery. A black pouch of Stoker’s 24C chewing tobacco pokes out of the back pocket of his jeans. “I started chewing in the mines to keep the coal dust out of my mouth,” he says.

“Plenty of that dust still found its way to his lungs. For the past 30 years, he’s gotten a monthly check to compensate him for the disease that steals his breath — the old bane of miners known as black lung.”

“Amid strikes throughout the West Virginia coalfields, Congress made a promise in 1969: Mining companies would have to keep dust levels down, and black lung would be virtually eradicated.”

“Marcum doesn’t have to look far to see that hasn’t happened.”

I can't help but wonder how many of those miners don't realize that we're fighting in the streets for their rights too

“There’s his middle son, Donald, who skipped his senior year of high school to enter the mines here near the West Virginia border. At 51, he’s had eight pieces of his lungs removed, and he sometimes has trouble making it through a prayer when he’s filling in as a preacher at Solid Rock Baptist Church.”

”Men with lungs like the Marcums’ are not supposed to exist. In the hard-won 1969 law, Congress demanded that dust be controlled and new cases of disease be prevented. The idea was that, even if black lung didn’t disappear, there would be a small number of mild cases and virtually no one like Donald and James Marcum, said Dr. Donald Rasmussen, a pioneer in recognizing and diagnosing black lung.”

The disease’s resurgence represents a failure to deliver on a 40-year-old pledge to miners in which few are blameless, an investigation by the Center for Public Integrity and NPR has found. The system for monitoring dust levels is tailor-made for cheating, and mining companies haven’t been shy about doing so. Meanwhile, regulators often have neglected to enforce even these porous rules. Again and again, attempts at reform have failed.

Too big to fail? NO. TOO BIG TO BE ALLOWED TO EXIST. BURN IT DOWN

Does YOUR 401K include stock in a mining company that puts shareholder profits before the health of it’s workers?

If so, YOU’RE GUILTY TOO of being a heartless ass that is killing American workers to pad your retirement portfolio.

And why do the mine owners skirt the rules? PROFITS. Why are they allowed to do this? CORRUPTION AND GREED.

Not just greed on the part of the mine owners. No. It’s also greed on the part of the SHAREHOLDERS in the mine that is sending these people to their deaths.

What about this story?….

Monsanto Launches Massive Campaign to Stop GMO Labeling

But you don't care. That Monsanto stock in your 401k portfolio is making YOU money!

“We’ve gone on at great lengths discussing the dangers of genetic modification. Monsanto’s GMO corn has been linked to weight gain and organ function disruption, while GMO crops and pesticides destroy our farmland and environment.”

“According to the Alliance of Natural Health, the grandchildren of rats fed GMO corn were born sterile. GMO is just one of those things to avoid, but with our own government in bed with Monsanto, it’s not easily done. Monsanto has recently launched a proverbial war against the open labeling of genetically modified foods, and only through activism and awareness can it be overcome.”

Does YOUR 401K include stock in Monsanto or any other food company that puts shareholder profits before the health of YOU and the American people? If so, YOU’RE GUILTY TOO of being a heartless ass that is slowly poisoning innocent people to pad your portfolio.

Look at this story….

A man depicts the often grim atmosphere in assisted living facilities

Old in America? How many of you "old folks" realize that the OCCUPIERS are fighting for you too? Fighting while the 1% lets you rot

People my age — I’m now 62 — might go to an assisted living facility every now and then to visit an older family member. But few people in my age group actually live in an assisted living facility. I do.”

“What I hadn’t calculated was what it’s like to watch a friend — someone you’ve eaten breakfast with every morning for several years — waste away and die. And just as you’re recovering from that friend’s death, another friend begins to waste away.”

“During my first few weeks in one such place, I requested a meeting with senior management. I’ve been both a journalist and a Zen monk in my day, and I like to make sure we all understand one another and communicate well.”

‘Their’ facility….

In a rest home? They'll keep you doped whether you need it or not until you die. But, you don't care. Your 401k pays for it all!

“The three executives and I met in my room, and the meeting soon turned fractious. I don’t remember exactly what the head of the housing board said, but I challenged it.”

“That’s not fair,” I told him. “You get to go home every day at 5 p.m., but this is my home.” He stood up, pointed his finger at me, and roared: “This is NOT your home. You just lease an apartment here like everybody else.”

“I realized right then that the residents of “their” assisted living facility, among whom I now numbered, didn’t have a voice. We then can find ourselves silenced by, and subjected to, a top-down management team whose initial goal seems to be to strip us of our autonomy. And it is in this environment that most of us will die.”

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE

Does YOUR 401K include stock in any assisted care facility company that puts shareholder profits before the ELDERS RIGHTS of the American people? If so, YOU’RE GUILTY TOO of being a heartless ass that is slowly turning America into a society that could care less about our elderly to pad your portfolio

Just think….

"Fuck him. My 401k is doing great!" It's also contributing to Wall Street greed and the downfall of America

And yet, he’s one of the lucky ones that can afford to go to an “assisted care facility.” For the rest of us, it’s the streets and homelessness. Either that, or we become workers in the prison industrial complex for our remaining days.

Are you going to sit back without doing anything about the problems in our society and just hope it doesn’t happen to you? Then, you deserve what you get.

Hope without action is just an empty wish. BECOME ACTIVE.

By helping others, you help yourself.

Speaking of helping others, have you seen this story?

“Denise Rich, the wealthy socialite and former wife of pardoned billionaire trader Marc Rich, has given up her U.S. citizenship – and, with it, much of her U.S. tax bill.”

Here's Denise Rich with the people who pardoned her billionaire crooked husband. What got blown in this picture?

“Rich, 68, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, top Democratic donor and glamorous figure in European royalty circles, renounced her American passport in November, according to her lawyer.”

Privilege:

“A committee found Denise Rich had swayed the pardon with donations to the Clinton campaign”

Does YOUR 401K include stock in any company that she owns which puts shareholder profits before paying “her fair share” to the American people? If so, YOU’RE GUILTY TOO of being a heartless ass that is slowly turning America into a feudal society to pad your portfolio.

Would we elect Denise Rich? SHE'S A DEMOCRAT! Both are crooks and both don't give a damn about you

It all comes down to fighting for human rights. Putting human rights before corporate wrongs, not only in America, but in the entire world.

Corruption in government at all levels and in both political parties. Corporations killing us with poisoned food and unnecessary diseases.

Bankers ruthlessly screwing the American people in the name of the almighty dollar. Fracking. A prison industrial complex and the passage of new “laws” every day designed to enslave the populace even more. Needless waste of our tax dollars.

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE

Does YOUR 401K include stock in any predatory company that puts shareholder profits before the well-being of the American people? If so, YOU’RE GUILTY TOO of being a heartless ass that is rapidly eliminating the middle class to pad your portfolio.

Speculators in America profit from misinformed homeowners and people who have difficulty managing their finances?

You mean they profit from preying on the elderly and people who lost their jobs?

Why shouldn’t we just take these “speculators” out and shoot them?

Or, at the very least, post their pictures everywhere possible. In the media. On the web, On lampposts. EVERYWHERE. They’re predators. Make them register as predators to warn a neighborhood that a predator is in their midst.

But, you don’t care. You’ve got yours. YOUR 401K IS DOING GREAT!

Speaking of predators, here’s a little laugh for you….

Screw him. The world would be better off without him

Jamie Dimon had just died, and Calico Blackie kept calling up his widow:

“Hello, Is Jamie there?”
“I’m sorry, but Jamie is dead.”

Next day, calls again:

“Hello, is Jamie there?
“I’ve already told you, Jamie is dead!

“Yeah, I know, but I just like hearing it”.

Then, as an aside, there’s this…..

Should smoking trigger an R rating?

“Movies that show actors smoking tobacco should automatically earn an R rating in order to minimize copycat smoking among impressionable tweens and teenagers, the authors of a new study suggest.”

Jenny McCarthy showing her ass in Playboy Magazine. God forbid if she was smoking too!

“Assigning an R rating to all movies portraying smoking would lower the proportion of kids who try cigarettes at this age by 18%, the authors estimate. (Children under 17 must be accompanied by an adult to buy a ticket for an R-rated movie.)”

“The movie industry [should] treat smoking like it treats profanity and sex and violence,” says lead author Dr. James D. Sargent, a cancer-prevention specialist and professor of pediatrics at Dartmouth Medical School, in Lebanon, New Hampshire.”

“If saying the ‘F’ word twice gets you an R rating, certainly something as important as smoking should get you an R rating.”

Link is here:  http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/10/health/smoking-trigger-rating-movie/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

So….

While we’re being told to worry about smoking in movies, we’re still getting gang raped by the corporations like a bunny rabbit at a coyote rally.

The fact that we allow ourselves to be distracted away from the REAL issues by the Tom Cruises, Katie Perrys, Dances With the Stars, American Idol, Jenny McCarthy’s ass, smoking in movies, and whether or not Britain’s Royal Family’s shit stinks is beginning to worry me.

Some escapism is good. It's great fun that will disappear like our youth if we keep letting the corporations and Wall Street have their way with us

I’m worried because we’re mostly being shown a fantasyland instead of stark reality.

Some “escapism” is great, but we’ve become a nation obsessed with “escaping.”  WHY?

I’m really worried that people diagnosed with terminal disorders and can’t get/afford treatment will just say: “What the hell. I’m going to die anyway” and start “popping off” these heartless lawmakers & innocent people might get caught in the crossfire.

I KNOW, that if my wife fell ill and we went to the hospital and she was denied care due to an inability to pay, it would be “treatment at gunpoint” time.

A human life is more important to me than a dollar bill.

I’m really worried that our only recourse if we don’t start acting now to reverse these situations, will be to revolt.

WHAT'S IN YOUR WALLET? HOW DID THAT MONEY GET THERE?

In that event, to determine innocence or guilt, the first thing I, and fellow activists will be asking YOU when the insurrection comes is:

WHAT’S IN YOUR 401K?

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE

That’s why we have to get away from the Stock Market and the gangsters that are ruining America to appease their greed.

We HAVE to get away from the 401K mentality and system that has turned a lot of us into enablers for the greedy pigs.

WE HAVE TO WASH OUR HANDS OF THE GREED TOO.

WE have to….

Take to the streets.

WE have to….

OCCUPY WALL STREET

ON THE 17TH OF SEPTEMBER…

LET’S TAKE IT DOWN

Banksters: WE ARE COMING
