Greetings from Calico Blackie!

MUSSOLINI AND ITALY:

“Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power.” Benito Mussolini

From Italy. Mussolini and his mistress and cohorts hung upside-down in the town square. 1945

Benito Mussolini was the fascist ruler of Italy from the early 1920s to the 1940s. The Italian people, sick of the war, deposed him and surrendered to the allies.

He went into hiding, was rescued by the Germans but ultimately Italian partisans caught up with him and his entourage.

He was shot and killed and him and the bodies of his closest followers were hung upside-down publicly in a town square gas station.

Keep in mind that many of the people you see in the crowd viewing and stoning the bodies were probably cheering him and supporting him just a few years earlier.

Here’s another view of the dictator and his mistress:

Benito Mussolini and Clara Petacci

The Italian people felt hoodwinked and misled by the Mussolini government and reacted violently when it came time for reckoning.

Their country had been devastated by WWII, many soldiers and civilians had been killed, cities had been destroyed along with priceless cultural icons, and the people needed someone to blame and on which to focus their hatred.

As was the case with Nazi Germany, Mussolini had his propaganda machine which he had used to mislead the masses into believing their country was a utopia.

The greatest country in the world.

That’s why, when reality finally struck the Italian people full in the face, they reacted so violently against their dictator.

They had been betrayed and they knew it. When will WE know it?

“The truth is that men are tired of liberty.”   Benito Mussolini

THIS IS REALITY

Are WE tired of liberty?

Do we want a government that is little more than a mouthpiece for corporate rule to tell us how to live, how to act, what to be happy with, who to hate, when to be satisfied, and who to blame when we realize we’re being hoodwinked?

Do we want to be sheep?

After all, everyday life is hard enough without the added burden of having to be free to arrange for our own futures.

Do we want to be led by the nose while the mainstream media works for the 1% to keep us divided and fighting each other?

Do we need and want the media to give us convenient scapegoats to blame, now that we are beginning to realize that everything might not be as rosy as we’ve been told?

Look at that "dirty hippie" getting arrested last month. It's all her fault for opposing our country's policies. Oops....wait. She was arrested at a pro-life demonstration

You know….The usual suspects: Democrats, Republicans, Liberals, Conservatives, Jews, Arabs, Russians, minorities, homeless people, those damn people on food stamps, the young, the old…..The list of scapegoats is endless.

QUESTION: Why do we even need a scapegoat?

ANSWER: We need scapegoats because it’s easier to place blame than it is to accept blame.

After all, who likes to admit their guilt? Who likes to take the blame for our becoming a police state?

So, where does Calico Blackie place the blame for our country slipping into a fascist corporatocracy?

Calico Blackie is to blame as are ALL of you  for not speaking up sooner. The blame is on OUR shoulders.

We didn't listen then. It was easier to ignore the warning

WE should have never let up after the 60s and Vietnam.

WE stood by while the going was good and let it all go to hell.

WE let the corporations offshore our jobs.

WE shopped at Wal-Mart because it was cheaper.

WE voted in the crooks in Washington DC.

WE stood by while college tuition went through the roof.

WE stood by and allowed ourselves to be blinded by our television sets and our mainstream media.

Kate Upton. Easier for the guys to look at than to face the realities of everyday life. No decisions to make here!

WE cared more about Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, and now Kate Upton, Brad Pitt and other celebrities while our liberties were being taken away.

WE believed the lies because it was easier to believe them than it was to hear the warnings and see reality.

We believed what we wanted to believe because it was too easy.

WE ARE TO BLAME AND NOW IT’S TIME TO SHOULDER THAT BLAME AND WORK TOGETHER TO FIX IT!

YOUNG PEOPLE…IF YOU CONTINUE TO REMAIN SILENT, YOU WILL BE JUST AS MUCH TO BLAME. JUST AS GUILTY.

We were/are the willing enablers to the 1%.

They tell us what we want to hear and we buy it hook, line and sinker. Now, the bill is due and we’ve got to pay that bill. We’ve got to stop enabling a system that is strangling us.

Ask yourself…..In today’s corrupt society, do you work for the IRS, the Police, the mainstream media propaganda machine, the courts, a crooked bank, a collection agency or any other anti-human entity in any capacity without protest or trying to change the system back to what it was originally intended to be?

IT'S OUR FAULT

THEN YOU ARE AN ENABLER. Young or old..YOU are guilty.

The “I’m only doing my job because I have to” defense didn’t work for the SS at the Nuremberg Trials in 1946. The entire SS organization was found collectively guilty.

AND SO ARE YOU IF YOU ENABLE OPPRESSION.

Stop being an enabler. Join the fight to fix our country. We screwed it all up and it’s on us to work together to FORCE a change.

We’ve got to do this because the alternative is too Orwellian to contemplate. If we don’t fix it now, there will be no more hope left for us. It’s our last chance before we are forced to succumb to the feudalistic rule of the 1%.

Stop looking for scapegoats and for someone or something to blame. FORGET BLAME, GODDAMMIT!!!

We allowed it. We enabled it. WE DID IT. NOW, LET'S FIX IT!

Just say……….

WE DID IT…….NOW LET’S FIX IT.

Whatever it takes.

Blame is NOT a solution!

TAKE TO THE STREETS!

EDUCATE!

Keep the faith, Occupiers.

Occupy Wall Street
