BE THE HAMMER!
on September 30, 2012 at 10:39 amGreetings from Calico Blackie!
It’s been said the “When you’re a hammer, every problem looks like a nail.”
Well, with the way things are going and the sheer amount of problems faced by the citizens of the world, and when you consider the condition of our society…….
Maybe it’s time to start pounding nails.
We can all be the hammer, but first we all need to realize that those hammers come in many makes, styles and sizes.
AND ABOVE ALL WE MUST REMEMBER THAT OUR GOALS ARE THE SAME……
TO DRIVE THOSE NAILS TO EXTINCTION.
To accomplish this goal, we need to remain united. We must accept each fellow activists method of resistance and be supportive in our quest to topple the 1%.
For instance…..
A few days ago, I wrote a column critical of the “tiny house movement” without realizing I was painting the majority of the adherents to this movement with too broad a brush.
There ARE plenty of them out there who are trying to change things for the better and who are “sticking it to the man” with their efforts and I applaud them.
We ARE addicted to the “bigger is better” philosophy that has been drummed into our heads for decades.
Just be careful if you choose to go the “tiny house” route and watch for the warning signs, because if the 1% starts to take notice, they WILL take steps to screw you.
What do I mean when I say “Warning signs”?
Here’s an example: People who can afford a new car have been buying hybrids and electric cars to save money and to help the environment.
They’re “sticking it to the man” and depriving the oil companies by using less gasoline.
Well, there is a move going on in some states to tax the owners of these types of cars 1-cent for every mile they drive to make up for the lost gas tax revenue, thus destroying any savings enjoyed by the drivers of electric cars.
In the same manner, our government will begin to see a decrease in property tax revenue if enough people choose the tiny house route.
Their solution WILL BE to tax those tiny houses out of existence, whether they are mobile or on an owned piece of property.
Their goal is to NEVER let you challenge the system or decrease their revenues.
Therefore, all adherents to the tiny house movement MUST be vigilant and resist every 1% attempt to thwart their efforts.
Anyway…….
I have a “guest columnist” for you today. A Tiny House advocate that I stand with in solidarity.
Here is the column, written by @Clausemic
Poison Food, Poison Water, Poison Land, Depleted Resources…
…this is our legacy.
You can tune it all out though and ignore these problems…
just like the Romans, whose government taught the historical lesson that civil unrest could be quelled by making entertainment, and alcohol available to the masses.
No matter how bad their quality of life got, the citizens of Rome were more than happy to crawl over the bloody corpses of their neighbors for a bigger slice of the proverbial pie.
Here we are today, witnessing history repeat itself.
A significant portion of the population has been brainwashed to believe that their birthright is to extract phantom wealth from Wall St, and consume the actual wealth that is produced by our societies without any regard for citizens outside of the bubble of their lives which has become insulated by partisan politics and their envy of people who dance with the stars.
The worlds financial institutions were created to provide the capital necessary for people with vision to build businesses, bridges, schools, infrastructure, roads, railroads, and public utilities which have made our freedom, liberty, and most importantly, opportunity available to anyone who sought these things.
Today, though, these institutions have become monoliths whose only function is to sanction the theft of money from the 99%.
These 1% con-men who profit from this contribute nothing to society, These leeches get a free ride in our society, yet when someone who slaves 40hrs+ a week doing demoralizing and dehumanizing menial work asks for things like clean water, a healthy food system, affordable housing, retirement security, or access to health services…
….well these people have “entitlement issues”.
Fuck them in their lazy, American idolizing asses.
It’s time to do something about this.
It’s time to get ANGRY.
The last 70 years have taught us a very important lesson; change within the current political and economic paradigms is impossible.
It’s time to re-evaluate the whole system, and the changes need to come from the bottom up.
A very important question that needs to be asked is “What is the economy?”
Well .. the economy is the means of exchange by which we meet our individual and collective needs. What are our needs?
First and foremost, we have the fundamental physiological needs of creatures. We all need to eat, drink, shit, procreate, and seek shelter for rest and safety.
Slaves used to work 12-14 hours a day, and in exchange were provided with these needs…

THIS is the “tiny house” the 1% wants us all to live in right up until they arrest us for “squatting” and put us to work in their prison industrial complex. They will do it too if we don’t UNITE AND RESIST
….in fact, slave owners knew that the healthier their slaves were the more productive they were and that they carried higher market value…
…..It was in their economic interest that the “nigger livestock” be adequately fed, clothed, housed.
Furthermore, slaves would be beaten for failing to practice hygiene, and had regular physical inspections from veterinarians.
How about you? Is that 40 hour work week working out for you?
Fact is you are all worse off than slaves…
Sure, you don’t get regular beatings… but now you are required to exchange the precious moments of your life for a stagnant wage. You are required to feed, clothe, and pay for your shelter and health care.
You don’t get to enjoy a meal every night in the company of loved ones like the slaves did.

THIS IS THE WAY TO GO. Better than ulcers and a 60 hour work week. But we’ve got to ensure that our tiny house is what we want and not what the 1% will try to force us into
If you are lucky enough to spend time with your family it will be on the couch watching a flickering light which hypnotizes you into believing that you are worthless, less than, powerless…..
…unless of course you are able to accumulate more material things than the people around you…
…..then you become comfortable believing that you are a big shot, better than that, YOU ARE A JOB CREATOR.
And with your precious bank account to back up your belief… you will stand very little chance of waking up to the systematic oppression that your behavior perpetuates.
Revolution has become a certainty.
Humanity is waking up to its full potential and the oppressed are rising up.
Every stimulus, every bailout, every natural disaster, every food or market crisis… more and more people wake up from the American dream.
More and more people are seeing that the system is reaching critical failure, and the sooner we break the failing machine, the sooner a new one can emerge.
The system serves only those at the top of the pyramid, and we hold them up. Every time we spend their money, every time we use their currency, they profit.
Their Markets honor volume… their markets DEMAND volume.
Stop the madness!
Stop spending their money, stop trading in their worthless currency.
STOP HOLDING THEM UP!!!!!
Don’t be an obedient zombies! Break their economy so we can build a new one immediately!

Family Values? THIS is what men are slyly taught to want and to be able attain if only they worked a little harder! Really now guys……REALLY. Is this what you want? Big cars, big houses and STEPFORD WIVES? Ulcers and an early grave? Resist the propaganda
Screw their housing, their poison food, their prison, war, and debt profiteering.
Screw their transportation, fuck their lousy wage slave jobs, screw the competition they create in the marketplace to devalue our time.
How much time do you have in your life? Why would you let one person make your time worth less?
Fuck their corporate media that fills you with unattainable desires.
Piss on every single nickel and every single dime that they steal from your paycheck.
You deserve to eat good food, you deserve to breathe clean air, you deserve water untainted with cancer chemicals, and you deserve your own house.
Its time to bring them down.
Find a way to meet your needs outside the established economic paradigm.
Occupy Wall St.
