Greetings to the Resistance. Viva Los ‘Indignados’ de Wall Street!

Romney on his way to the GOP convention seen here with his running mate (after he took her down from the roof of his car)
I’ve often mulled over in my mind what I would do if I could be the absolute ruler over this country for a day.
After watching the GOP debate, I’ve come to the conclusion that the candidates are completely disregarding the wishes of most people, particularly women in America.
Plus, they are (with the exception of Ron Paul) very eager to involve us in a war with Iran that could easily escalate into a nuclear conflict. They are completely out of touch with the needs and desires of the PEOPLE. They exist to serve their masters on Wall Street. Ron Paul might talk a good game, but do you really think the 1% and their Senators would allow him to do anything he says he’d do, if elected?
So, how do we remedy this? We OCCUPY. WE RESIST.

Rick Santorum. He doesn't give a damn about you. He'd send us to die in Iran for oil profits
Here’s what I would do if I could be “Fuhrer for a Day”: I’d put it to a vote of the people.
I recently saw a poll that said 58% of the American people favor a war with Iran.
I call bullshit on this poll. Let’s have a REAL poll. A REAL vote on this issue.
The question of going to war with Iran would not be a secret ballot and voting would be MANDATORY for every citizen of the United States of America. If you don’t vote, you don’t get ANY government services.

No EMT for you! Accepting assistance from the government promotes SOCIALISM
No Post Office.
No fire department.
No woodcutting permits.
No income tax deductions related to government services.
Nothing for you.
The vote would be done with a show of hands in true democratic fashion.
EVERYONE, WHETHER 18 OR 80 THAT VOTES FOR THE WAR GETS TO GO INTO THE MILITARY TO TRAIN FOR WAR.
Congressmen and Senators that vote for war would also be required, along with their entire families to participate.

Ain't war fun? She looks like she's having such a good time!
Then, if they still want to fight, they get to go fight the war they so eagerly supported, regardless of their age, wealth, or social standing.
If you voted “NO,” then you stay home and pay your taxes to support a truly democratic system.
If the “no” votes win the day…..No war with Iran.
Likewise, with the issue of contraception, including the stipulation that ONLY WOMEN would be eligible to vote.
Vote for contraception and Roe vs Wade, and you are still entitled to all the benefits.
Vote “NO,” and you will be prohibited from receiving any of the benefits, AND you would be allowed a tax-credit for whatever percentage of our tax dollars goes to fund birth control. HOWEVER, you will be criminally liable if you have an unwanted pregnancy and give up your baby.
“Fuhrer for a Day” would provide healthcare for all, with the option of going to a private doctor if you so desired.

THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN. IT'S TIME FOR CHANGE
“Fuhrer for a Day” would also make prison reform a priority because if things keep going the way they are now, soon there will be no free working class.
With all the offshoring and outsourcing going on, the working class has a choice of joining the military, getting a McJob and condemning themselves to a lifetime of poverty, or going to prison.
Oh, we still need to “lock up” violent and deranged criminals, but right now, our prisons are overcrowded with human beings that shouldn’t even be in prison. They’re just put there to feed the prison industrial complex for the profit of the 1%. AND THE 1% WILL GET AROUND TO YOU TOO.

Yeah, prison is easy. People are clamoring to go there!
You still hear “those prisoners have it great. Three squares a day, a roof over their heads, and they don’t have to do anything but lift weights and watch TV all day.”
OK, “Archie Bunker”….If prison is so great and easy, why aren’t you wanting to go there? Why should we concern ourselves with prison reform?
We should concern ourselves because with the rise of the police state, we might all find ourselves in there providing a cheap labor source for the 1%.

Welcome to America!
We should concern ourselves because those people are human beings and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
To do otherwise just cheapens ourselves and our society in general. It robs us of our culture.
“Fuhrer for a Day” would reform the prison system to truly rehabilitate, instead of paying lip-service to rehabilitation. Right now, it’s punishment. Plain and simple, no matter what your “crime.”
Back to the subject of a possible war if Santorum and Romney have their way.

Executing a prisoner. This also dehumanizes the shooter as well.
Did you ever wonder if parents of children killed in Iraq would, if given the choice, rather have Saddam still in power and their children back home with them, or would they rather have their children dead and Iraq in the shape it’s in today?
WAS IT WORTH IT?
Even the soldiers that survived the war zone have memories and nightmares that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives.
Either that, or they’ve been dehumanized into being killing machines who think nothing of committing atrocity.

And it isn't any better in Canada either
Do you realize that we now have entire police forces that have been dehumanized into thinking that it’s ok to crack your skull if they’ve been told by their masters to do it?
It’s justified because they aren’t cracking a human skull. No, they’re brutalizing a “dirtbag” or a “dirty hippie” and not a human being.
Exercising your First Amendment rights? That’s a skull crackin’ boy!
Mistaken for someone else? Skull crackin’!
Land of the Free?
And, what if the police do something wrong and are called on it? Why, they blame somebody else. Find a scapegoat. It’s the American Way! Even our politicians and other leaders do it.
Did you see this in the news?
From CBS News:
Ignored 911 Call Turns Fatal In Berkeley; Police Busy With Occupy Protest

They are NOT your friends. They would KILL you for nothing if ordered to do so
“Officers were preparing for an Occupy protest headed to UC Berkeley from Oakland and said it didn’t appear to be an emergency. Neighbors in the area of Grizzly Peak Blvd. and Park Gate Road said that the police response to the call was slow.”
“Police issued a statement Monday night that said the initial call was for trespassing and that because on-duty officers were being reconfigured for the protest; only emergency calls were to be handled. Peter Cukor, 67, had been beaten to death with a flower pot.”
“The suspect, 23-year-old Daniel Dewitt, was taken into custody and will be arraigned on Wednesday.”

Calico Blackie says:
The police screwed up, but they had a ready excuse. An excuse they knew the “Archie Bunker types” would readily buy. It was the fault of the protesters. Yeah, sure.

"We'll respond when we can. Right now, we're busy"
I parked my truck one night outside my place of work on Fruitvale Avenue in Oakland. When I got off work, I discovered that my truck had been broken in to and I was missing a car stereo and a few other items.
Being a good citizen, I called the police and was told the wait for a patrolman was almost 2 hours because they were very busy.
A typical Bay Area night…..IN 1977. And it hasn’t changed since, only now, to discredit the Occupy Movement, they blame their incompetence and unwillingness to “Protect and Serve” the public on Occupy.
Here’s an FYI and update from Occupy Wall Street………
“Many news outlets are running articles suggesting that the Occupy movement is planning a “national general assembly” in Philadelphia in July. This initiative, referred to as The 99% Declaration, is driven by a not-for-profit corporation and is not endorsed by the General Assembly at Occupy Wall Street (OWS).”
“The 99% Declaration and its call for a “national general assembly” in Philadelphia in July is not affiliated with or endorsed by Occupy Wall Street, and the organizers’ plans blatantly contradict OWS’ stated principles.”

Then there’s this………………
GOP hopefuls hit Obama hard on gas prices

Say "Blame" one more time, instead of working together to fix the problem, you assholes! I dare you
“Newt Gingrich has made gas prices a centerpiece of his campaign. He’s blaming Mr. Obama and promising change. “There is no reason we can’t get gasoline down between $2 and $2.50 a gallon,” Gingrich asserts.”
“Rick Santorum also blames Mr. Obama, saying his decisions, such as limiting oil exploration, have led to higher prices at the pump, “all because of the radical environmentalist policies of this president.”
“Both Republican and Democratic administrations have taken fire on gas prices, and had similar responses: It’s not our fault.”

Calico Blackie says:

Fix it NOW
Republicans blame the Democrats. Democrats blame the Republicans.
We pay the price.
Big oil reaps record profits.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
We are sick and tired of this blame game! Fix the problem, Washington DC. Look for solutions, instead of looking for a scapegoat to blame your failures on.

Fix it or we'll fix you!
Fix the problem, or we will be forced to fix it ourselves by throwing you and your banker bosses out in the street!
Now, to balance the scale, I’d like to talk about some things that bring us together.
Things that point out our similarities instead of our differences. ‘Cause that’s all you ever hear about in this country.
It’s our differences.
That’s all the media and the politicians are ever talking about–the things that separate us, things that make us different from one another.
That’s the way the ruling class operates in any society. They try to divide the rest of the people.

Great family values we're teaching there. Keep us divided. Teach 'em young
They keep the lower and the middle classes fighting with each other so that they, the rich, can run off with all the damned money!
It’s a fairly simple thing, and it happens to work. You know?
Anything different–that’s what they’re gonna talk about–race, religion, ethnic and national background, jobs, income, education, social status, sexuality, political party, anything they can do to keep us fighting with each other, so that they can keep going to the bank!
AND WE FALL FOR IT LIKE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS!

Keep us divided. Keep us scared
You know how I define the economic and social classes in this country?
The upper class keeps all of the money, pays none of the taxes. The middle class pays all of the taxes, does all of the work.
The poor are there just to scare the shit out of the middle class.
That’s how the ruling class keeps ‘em showing up at those jobs (if you’re lucky enough to have a decent job).
So, what does bring us together as human beings?
Nothing, because the “powers that be” are constantly pitting us against each other in the hope that we’ll keep falling for their divisive propaganda and other lies, in the hopes that we’ll continue to fight against each other, instead of uniting to fight against them.
That’s the reason they’re scared of “We the People” who are the occupiers in the world. We are DIVERSE AND UNITED IN OUR DESIRE FOR A BETTER COUNTRY.

A bunch of "Dirty Hippies" protesting at Washington DC two days ago
For all that the mainstream media does to reassure their target audience that we’re not accomplishing anything, Wall Street bankers and their police and politicians sure seem to be crapping themselves over OWS.
Over a bunch of “dirty hippies.”
We are UNITED, and that scares the hell out of them. They know this Occupy Movement has the potential to make real change happen.
It has the potential to get them ALL fired.
DERAIL THE 1%’s GRAVY TRAIN!
Don’t buy into their divisive propaganda.
Know who your real friends and who your real enemies are.
And, if you’re a cop reading this, ask yourself the question:
“If I had been at the Occupy protests at Zuccotti Park, or Portland, or at Occupy Oakland and had been ordered to switch to live ammunition, would I have “followed orders,” or would I have protected and served the population instead of the 1%?”

Pike would have shot them with pleasure
I think I know the answer to that one.
OCCUPY WALL STREET!
No war!
No maximum profit mentality!
No prison industrial complex!
NO MORE BLAME.
ONLY SOLUTIONS.
DOWN WITH THE 1% and their “blame game!”

We are the 99%
