OCCUPY 2012!

Greetings to all my fellow 99%’ers out there!

Sydney, Australia

In a few hours, it will be 2012 here in Western Rural America. Our freedoms are threatened, but we’re not asleep anymore.

We have mobilized to show the world that we are willing to fight to protect our dwindling rights and we are willing to fight against the machine that threatens to enslave us all.

It must be mystifying to the 1% that no matter how many occupy encampments they raid, no matter how many of us they arrest and brutalize, we keep springing back up throughout the country like a giant game of “whack-a-mole.”

We keep springing up, and if NDAA is signed, we will spring up stronger than ever. The only difference will be that the NDAA will force some of us “moles” to go underground where they will never be able to root us all out.

Where will we spring up next, 1%?

We will keep fighting, and if NDAA is signed, there will be millions who, if not actively resisting, will be new sympathizers to our movement.

I’m sure the 1% and their puppets in Washington DC are confident that they can effectively deal with this threat to their ill-gotten profits and bonuses.

They will ensure that the NDAA is signed, and probably introduce even tougher laws and restrictions to cow the masses. They will institute draconian measures to deal with those amongst us that love our freedom. They will use concentration/detention camps.

They will think they’re safe and secure with their oppressive tactics and regime. Those bastards probably never read about the French Resistance in World War Two.

The year 2012 will define our country.

We will either be successful in keeping our freedom, or we will be driven underground. Either way, it will be “Our Finest Hour.”

JUST SAY NO!

We no longer blindly follow our “leaders” down the toilet. We question authority. We are willing to fight when we need to fight.

We speak up to make our voices heard.

We oppose “Blood for Oil” and are not afraid to decry war as a solution for everything.

WE EDUCATE. WE EXPOSE THE LIES. WE TELL THE TRUTH. WE SPEAK UP.

14 Occupy Oakland protesters arrested

Quick, 1%...Whack that mole so that 1000s of others can spring up!

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) – “Authorities say 14 people were arrested in separate confrontations between Occupy Oakland protesters and police Friday.”

“The Oakland Tribune reports that ten people were arrested during a scuffle near Frank Ogawa Plaza around 2 p.m. when police told them to remove cooking and sleeping gear.”

“Earlier, four people were arrested around 12:15 p.m. in a dispute with officers after a platform had been erected in a tree near Oakland City Hall.”

“The arrests come after 12 people were arrested at a foreclosed property in west Oakland Thursday and 14 protesters were arrested at vacant lot on Wednesday.”

“Today, the 42-year-old Berkeley rocker heads up a popular social media campaign to combat slavery.”

“With a $200,000 grant from the State Department, he recently launched slaveryfootprint.org, which helps people identify the slave labor used for their own consumer goods. It is approaching 2 million hits.”

“And now — with the help of a groundbreaking anti-slavery retail law going into effect across California on New Year’s Day — Dillon believes the movement is reaching that tipping point where the average consumer can make a difference.”

“The law affects an estimated 3,200 companies with a presence in California, including Walmart and Macy’s. It requires retailers and manufacturers with gross annual receipts of more than $100 million to disclose what they’ve done to eliminate slavery in the global supply chain of their goods.”

The Real Rulers of this Country?

Greetings to my Fellow 99%’ers!

Wait until that poor coyote discovers that the Acme Company has moved to China!

I’ve never claimed to know everything, but I do know when we’re being screwed, and I do know it has been happening for years.

Only recently has the screwing by the 1% and their wholly owned subsidiary in Washington DC been so blatant that we began to take notice.

What do you mean, you say?

You say:

“The bank bailouts are a recent thing, and we’ve always been free in this country.”

You say:

“We never had political prisoners. We have the right to trial, and we can vote for the candidate of our choice.”

You say:

“WE have democracy……..”

It's been happening here for years and can only get worse if we don't fight for change

So….What are we doing about it?

“The headquarters for the Occupy Iowa Caucuses movement is a spacious, coffee-shop like warehouse on one of the main streets of downtown Des Moines, where protesters mingle amid signs reading “Mitt – get bank $ out of elections” and “Give us liberty from corporate greed!”

It will be a tough decision this year, as the field is flooded with candidates

“The occupiers don’t see much distinction between the Democratic and Republican parties, though the fact that President Obama is effectively unopposed for reelection gives them little in the way of targets on the Democratic side.”

“Emily Allison of Des Moines, who was among those arrested Thursday, said she felt “betrayed” by Mr. Obama for his unwillingness to veto the National Defense Authorization Act and for not closing the Guantanamo Bay prison facility.”

“I thought he would stand up for the people,” said Allison, who was charged with criminal trespassing. She described Democrats as the “lesser of two evils” – but added that “after seeing all the money that Obama has accepted from the corporations and the bankers it’s difficult to distinguish the parties as two different things.”

“Florida will be hit the hardest by the closing of Sears and Kmart stores, losing 11, according to a preliminary list of 79 planned closures released Thursday.

Adios, faithful employees. We've got to raise CASH!

“Ohio, Michigan and Georgia are not far behind with six store closures planned in their states. Tennessee, North Carolina and Minnesota are set to lose four stores each.”

“The 125-year-old retailer said on Tuesday it would close up to 120 stores to raise cash.”

So, how can we try to prevent a violent and bloody revolution from happening here?

By continuing to protest and make our voices heard.

By following the examples of Gandhi and King.

By trying to educate and convince the ignorant and those in denial that they are acting against their own best interests when they support the 1%. But, if we can’t get results, impatience will rule, and there will be blood. We’re living in some scary times right now.

Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein President?

Greetings to the thinkers and visionaries out there who are not blind to what is happening in our country and are not afraid to speak out against it!

Americans love their freedom and lately, those freedoms are coming under direct attack by our “leaders.”

Leaders who have sold their souls to big business.

If Obama signs The National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), it will prove to the world that the USA has become a Wall Street dictatorship, with the only difference between us and 1933 Germany being the “fuhrer” changes every 4-8 years.

It will prove that we are only being given the illusion that whoever gets elected matters to the middle and lower classes in this country.

I saw the above poster a few years ago and thought: “No. The powers that be will be much more covert about trashing the Constitution and taking away out rights.”

I was wrong.

FASCISM: YOU REALLY THINK IT WILL BE THIS OBVIOUS?

Mainstream Media has convinced many Americans that our government will always act in the best interests of the masses.

They’re wrong.

Our politicians will always act in the best interests of Wall Street because they’ve been bought and paid for.

People will act against their best interests to buy what they think is a little bit of security and to not upset the status-quo. That’s why we keep electing the same anti-American bought off criminals to office.

When one thinks of Guantanamo, the POW camp, being set up to house foreign militants who rebel against US domination, the whole idea is ridiculous. The ultimate enemy is us, the herd, and keeping us under control, without disturbing the 1%.”

Just look at that "dirty hippie" protester getting what he deserves

It made us feel good.

Anyway, happy birthday Mary. Freedom and opportunity was fun while it lasted.

BECOME ACTIVE – BE THE CHANGE

Toast the New Year! Drink deep from the wine the 1% has so graciously given us and be grateful to have it!

2012 is almost here and this is a time where we traditionally take stock of what happened in the preceding year.

With that in mind……

What have the 99% Occupy protests accomplished so far?

We have shown the world what happens in the United States if “We the People” step out of line.

We have shown the world that the 1% will move a small army into our towns/cities and evict a peaceful protest by force.

We have shown the world that our elected “representatives” will harass what they term to be “undesirables” and not care one whit about decency.

We have shown the world that our government is there to make us afraid. And they are very effective at it, aren’t they?

This is what happens here when you exercise your right to Free Speech

We have exposed the lie that our Constitution guarantees the freedoms of all citizens in the United States.

We have shown that there are two sets of rules here. One set for the rich, and one set for the poor.

And in the middle of these two sets of rules is an ever shrinking class of people that will keep their noses to the grindstone and be silent, while their freedoms are being taken away.

We have awakened the 1% and their wholly owned subsidiary to the fact that we’re sick and tired of being used as milk cows while they rack up ever increasing profits.

We have exposed our society to be the Orwellian nightmare that George Orwell predicted when he wrote his book “1984.”

We have gotten our message across that we want an end to corruption and money in politics, and we are continuing to spread that message.

This is from the George Orwell book "1984" and it looks damned familiar, doesn't it?

So….What has all this “showing” and “awakening” accomplished other than showing the rest of the world that we’re not all greedy assholes in this country?

NOT A HECK OF A LOT…YET.

But we can’t give up. Even when we’re name-called and lied about by the corporate media and shills in the press for the 1%.

Even though the 1% doesn’t care how loud we yell.

We can’t give up for the sake of ourselves and the future of our children. We, the AWAKE people have got to keep fighting to keep Wall Street from making an Orwellian future a certain reality.

Throw off the chains!

Ask yourselves: In addition to protesting, voting and boycotting, what else can I do?

BECOME ACTIVE.

BE THE CHANGE.

Change will not be accomplished solely via voting, but through changes to how we live and interact with the system.

Every step towards independence from corporations (usually via localization) is a good step.

Coal corporations can argue against solar technology all they want, but if everyone quit waiting for the tech to “get better” and just put up some solar panels (with all the loans and tax breaks, they pay for themselves in about 4 years) we’d drive those greedy, polluting bastards back into their proper place in the matter of a decade.

A lot of things could be accomplished via these simple steps, but we choose not to.

We CHOOSE to give over our independence for convenience.

We would rather be less free and more comfortable, even if that means that our comfort could be ripped away at a moments notice, and we couldn’t do a damn thing about it…. that’s not a good place to be, nationally.

And to all of those who say the OWS “accomplished nothing”….

We forced the media machine to stop blathering 24/7 about lowering the deficit, and take a look at what’s really wrong in this country. (OK, maybe more a sidelong glance, but that’s still impressive.)

And…..

They don’t even expect the storm that we have planned for the 1% and DC in 2012. Let the games begin.

Greetings to all people who seek the truth!

It's called reading comprehension

Learning how to read in America is a topic near and dear to me. Most people can read printed words, but do they know how to interpret those words? Are they careful and thorough readers, or do they just skim the headlines and form the uninformed opinions that the 1% and their corporate media want them to form? As a former museum director, I constantly saw articles written on how to properly set up museum displays for the public. Every one of those articles stressed the importance of keeping the description cards next to the display as short as possible because visitors will usually only read the first sentence or two on the card and then look at the display without even having a full grasp of what it is they are seeing.

The worst part about this is that the data applies to the people that actually bother to go to museums, not to the masses that would rather watch “reality” television. We live in an age where visual stimulation is king and real information is unwanted and lost.

Actors and actresses don’t have to act. They play supporting roles to computer generated graphics.

Mainstream media (the propaganda machine of the 1%) understands this perfectly well, and they tailor their articles to misinform, mislead, and stretch the truth. Often, the truth IS in the article, but most people do not read beyond the headline to form their opinions.

Poll: Americans Better Off Than Their Parents

“Gallup poll shows 69% of Americans think they are better off financially than their parents whey they were the same age”

“A majority of Americans say they are better off financially than their parents were at the same age, though seniors are more positive about their wealth than younger people, according to the Gallup Poll.”

See, sheep? Money does buy happiness!

“Of 1,012 adults surveyed, 69 percent said they’re better off financially than their parents, down from the 74 percent who said so in 1998, the last time Gallup asked this question.”

“Gallup asked adults age 18 and older: “Think of your parents when they were your age.

Would you say you are better off financially than they were, or not?”

Here is where critical reading and thinking comes into play. Ask the questions: Where did this Gallup poll take place? A majority of Americans? What was the financial make up of their 1012-person sample? How was the poll conducted?

The only stupid questions are the ones that don't get asked

“Most Americans still think they are doing better financially than their parents did when they were the same age,” Elizabeth Mendes, deputy managing editor at Gallup, wrote in a blog post. “This is positive news, given the difficult state of the U.S. economy over the past several years — with millions of Americans seeing their home values deteriorate and jobs evaporate.”

See what they did there? They used a small sample of Americans, from who knows where, to make the statement: “Most Americans think they are doing better.” Read this statement without using critical thinking and it seems to say that everything is fine. That the 1 out of every 2 Americans that are close to, or at the poverty level must be mistaken. That the 91% of Americans that say Congress is doing a terrible job must be just a bunch of complainers. The bad news in that statement was reserved for the end, where most people won’t bother to read that far into the paragraph.

ASK QUESTIONS - DEMAND ANSWERS

By now, most people have stopped reading the article and will take away the information that most Americans think they’re doing great and that the protesters are crybabies.

HERE IS THE LAST PARAGRAPH IN THE ARTICLE THAT NO-ONE BOTHERED TO READ:

While the overall median response of the 1,012 adults was an income of $150,000, younger respondents age 18 to 49 had a median amount of $160,000.

Those 50 and older said they would feel rich with $100,000.

A median income of $150,000.00?

Hell yes, they’re doing ok.

So, it’s plain to see that Gallup polled a very skewed sample of Americans to arrive at the conclusion that everything is rosy and tell us we’re doing much better than our parents. ABC, at the orders of their Wall Street masters, prints the article, and suddenly “We’re doing better” becomes the new truth for us to believe. They just hope that most of us aren’t smart enough to read the entire article and ask questions. They hope that we have no reading comprehension skills and that their article, and our questions will fall upon deaf and uninformed ears.

You see, the article didn’t fall upon deaf ears; they fell upon informed ears. Ears attached to brains that know for a fact that the current corporate media (a) has helped to protect bankers and financiers from prosecution and (b) spread falsehoods about the economy and the occupy movement that result in the continuing complacency of a whole nation of sheep, and (c) condoned and enabled the creation of laws in our country that will have people imprisoned for being informed and speaking out, and other people imprisoned for not outing their 99% “domestic terrorist” friends.

TRUTH

So, forgive us if we appear to have deaf ears when the financiers and politicians that are doing those things to us try to teach us *anything* about being happy.

The fact that this particular article was really about how well off people that make $150,000/yr think they are, coming from a media that is owned by the 1% is just icing on the cake to an informed reader.

The people who are content to “sit back and take it” and think we all should be happy getting the shaft sound like battered wives when they do that.

Hey! Donald Trump quit the GOP and will probably run for President as an independent candidate.

What’s left of the middle class still hasn’t figured out yet how screwed they are.

They’ve still got a roof over their heads, food on the table and a big screen TV in the living room.

Nobody’s paying attention to the walls moving in a little bit more each year.

They put up with ‘sobriety checkpoints’ and drug tests because hey – it’s the law right?

They still think all this stuff is ‘for their protection’.

They haven’t figured out that they can’t take their rights back.

They haven’t figured out yet that the country made a deal with the devil and the bill is coming due.

Any possible serious attempt at uprising in this country will find itself ridiculously outgunned and at a severe tactical disadvantage.

Of course, that’s the idea.
The only tactical advantage the people have to coordinate their efforts is the internet.

Why do you think they’re trying to pass laws to block “rogue” domains?

Why do you think they’re trying to make it so that sites like this and others are to be held legally responsible for the content that their users post?

I’m of the opinion at this point that the authoritarians in our government are circling the wagons, and there are authoritarians in both the Republican and Democratic parties just about equally, and our Executive branch is also compliant with the authoritarians as well.

It’s getting me really unnerved, I’ll tell you that much.

But hey!

At least the police arent busting down the “wrong” doors and shooting the family dog right in front of the kids.

The Best Gift Ever?

Greetings to all you informed readers out there!

The usual question we innocently get asked on this day is: “Well, what did Santa bring you for Christmas?” As a member of the 99%, I can’t stand that question. I don’t resent the question itself, I resent what it implies.

SPEND MORE MONEY SO YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE YOU AND NOT THINK THEY'RE POOR

It implies that if you didn’t get a bunch of “stuff” that you are either poverty stricken or unloved.

Of course, it’s all bullshit designed to make parents feel guilty if they don’t blow the budget on Christmas gifts so that their children and spouses will continue to love them, and think they’re loved in return.

We all use the saying “Oh well, it’s the thought that counts” to salve their disappointment when there isn’t anything, or very little under the tree. But, conditioned by years of being bombarded by commercialism, do we really believe it? Some do and some don’t. I guess it all depends on how materialistic we’ve each become.

See honey? I LOVE you! I'll BUY you!

Buying love.

It’s sad that we subconsciously (or consciously) think that money can buy love.

But, what type of love does money buy?

Does spending much more than you can afford on a person show that you really love that person, or does it show that we’ve become a nation that equates money with love?

Or, does it show how irresponsible and gullible we are when we fall for the advertising and hype associated with gift giving? Don’t fall for the hype. Break the chains of materialistic thinking.

THE BEST GIFT EVER

So, with all my talk about materialism, I know what people will think. “He must have gotten nothing.”

If you thought that, you would be wrong. I got the best gift ever.

I’m an animal lover and years ago, I had a dog that lived to be 13 years old. We had been through the mill together and he was always my faithful companion. My wife used to brush his coat and save his fur in bags, until she had a ton of it. When he got sick, and the Vet told me he had cancer throughout his body and would suffer terribly for his remaining few days, I made the decision to put him down. I held him while it was done. I was sad for weeks.

That was 10 years ago. This year, my wife got her old spinning wheel out and washed & spun all the fur she had collected into yarn and knitted me a scarf made from the old dogs fur. It was made by her, for me, with love. It was the best gift I’ve ever gotten for the Holidays. It is the best gift I EVER will get. If the house ever burns down, or if I ever become homeless, it will be the one possession I will move heaven and earth to save.

That being said….Let’s move on to New Years Eve.

Christmas With The 1%?

Greetings to all you freedom fighters out there.

“Financial Nymphomaniacs” or, What is it like to never be satisfied?

Another Christmas Season has descended down upon the world. Every year, people wish for “Peace on Earth” and every year it doesn’t happen.

Why?

The answer always boils down to a quest for power, fueled by greed.

If we, as a people, demand equality and an end to corruption, the 1% sends their armies to crush us so that they can keep getting richer. If one nation wants more land, armies are sent to take land from their neighbors. So, we’re always in a fight somewhere, and it’s always because someone got greedy and wanted much, much more than their fair share.

Always in a fight somewhere because the oppressed are tired of being used by the greedy and powerful for profit and are trying to throw off their chains.

So, to us in the 99% who continue to struggle so that the 1% can make ever-increasing profits, we can’t imagine what a 1% Christmas would even be like.

What would it be like to have the person sitting at the head of the dinner table be the person that has thrown people out of their houses through crooked and deceptive lending practices, that is responsible for the rise in the prices of oil so that senior citizens freeze to death in their own homes while the corporation makes an even larger profit, that is responsible for the offshoring of thousands of jobs, thus ensuring that millions of Americans will slide into poverty, or worse, become homeless.

That can start wars and kill our sons and daughters so that the military industrial complex can continue to reap huge rewards?

What would it be like? For a normal and compassionate person, for the 99%, it would be repulsive.

To the 1%?

They think they’re entitled to these things because they’ve convinced themselves they’ve earned them. Maybe they have earned a higher salary. Maybe they have earned nicer possessions.

But at what cost?

It has cost them the last shred of humanity they ever had in their hearts when they are willing to impoverish, enslave, imprison, oppress and even kill their fellow human beings to make even MORE money.

When they become “Financial Nymphomaniacs” and don’t care who they have to screw to get even BIGGER profits, they have blackened their hearts.

They will never know when enough is enough.

Working hard and enjoying the fruits of hard labor is no longer enough for them.

Greed and the quest for even more power is their guide and it allows them to cheat, steal, and make shady backroom deals, with no conscience pangs at all.

What is worse, they impart these lessons to their children, and the cycle of greed continues.

AND IT WILL NEVER CHANGE UNLESS WE WORK TOGETHER TO CHANGE IT.

No doubt about it. We have become a nation of bullies.

They’re ruthless, and their weapons of choice in this Country are the “Justice” system and, on the streets, pepper spray.

Congress has a 9% approval rating.

Our police have been militarized.

The people who try to speak up for their rights are vilified by the media and the politicians, and many of the people, who blinded by the years of mind-numbing television buy into their propaganda.

But we haven’t all been blinded.

There are still some of us who will “read the writing on the wall” and speak out against injustice, greed, and the police state that we’ve become. We stand up to the bullies instead of becoming part of the nameless rabble that follows the Judas Goat into that slaughterhouse of life the 1% has prepared for us.

"There are those who look at things the way they are, and ask why... I dream of things that never were, and ask why not?"

You hear the same mantra from the sheep:

“Life isn’t fair,”

and

“There is no justice in this world, deal with it.”

They have been beaten down into believing the lies.

We, the protesters, are the people that holler “WHY NOT?”

A History of Bullying

Greetings to all people who are willing to stand up for their rights!

Will we ever learn?

I had planned on writing about the Indian Mutiny of 1857 yesterday, but didn’t.

The parallels in 1857 India to what is going on in today’s world were too grim and depressing.

Corporate rule.

Disdain of the masses by the ruling class.

Exploitation of a helpless population.

It all finally exploded into a savage bloodbath. I am convinced that human beings will NEVER learn from the past. We all think, “It can’t happen here.”

Will we ever learn?

Either that, or we refuse to believe it IS happening because it would upset and intrude into our comfort zones.

Denial is the most predictable of all human responses.

I didn’t write yesterday because I was disgusted and fed-up with the majority of the human race who will willingly stand by and watch as their rights are eroded.

See? I'm typing "The protesters are evil." Can I not get kicked today?

Not only will they sit idly by, they seem to relish denigrating the various protest movements around the world as if, by showing their willingness to be screwed, they’re expecting an extra scrap from the tables of their masters.

Is this a sign of their ignorance?

Maybe it’s just been ingrained into our societies since early on in life.

Remember the schoolyard bully?

He/she always had a cadre of “friends” who would follow the bullies around and were willfully cruel to the weak (at the instigation of the bully).

People LOVE to be on the “winning side” and HATE to be seen as fighting a losing battle.

Being on the winning side is FUN! Glad it ain't me getting kicked. GO GET THOSE PROTESTERS!

They will live in denial as long as they’re not the ones being bullied.

If the “occupy” movement succeeds, I predict that it will be harder to find an opponent of the movement in the aftermath than it was to find a supporter of Hitler’s policies in 1946 Germany.

OWS is not about getting someone else to pay the bills. It is about corruption in our government, in our corporations and in our law enforcement system.

It’s about a steady erosion of our freedom. Just a friendly reminder to the fat-ass haters of liberty.

Do you feel any safer? AT WHAT COST?

The whole point of protesting is not moving when told to move.

If the country’s police departments are going to continue trying to crack down on the right to assemble with military style force, they’ll continue to see a defiant uprising rather than what’s largely been a non-violent movement.

If they continue abusing the American citizens, and can’t learn from history, they better get used to fire, too.

But, well Mr. Denial……..

Just keep your head down, keep going to work, keep kissing the ass, keep sucking it with the other cowards. Keep calling us “dirty hippies” so that your master will keep throwing you scraps, until he’s done using you.

So, what’s next?

Like it or not, the Occupy movement has to empower someone to speak on their behalf with authority and act with credibility, to communicate and strategize with other groups.

In addition, to regulate its more extreme elements and to attempt to counteract false-flag activities (such as that old woman at the AFP dinner who was actually pushed down the stairs by a security guard, and the event publicized as an assault by an occupier).

Congress: THEY ARE THE 9%!

Greetings from the 99% in rural America!

Congress has a 9% approval rating. NINE PERCENT! Do you really think they care whether we approve of them or not? After all, we elected the scum. That’s what I keep hearing. We elected them, so we’re “getting what we deserve.”

Only an idiot can't see this as a reason to DEMAND change

What people in other nations don’t know is that we are repeatedly given the choice between “bought off” or “plain crazy” when we go to the polls. If we try to work together to correct this problem, we’re called “dirty hippie protesters” or “naughty children throwing our toys out of the pram” by the uninformed and willfully ignorant who, long ago, gave up thinking for themselves. Their opinions are formed by what the 1% and their stooges in the mainstream media tell them to think and say.

THEY DON'T GIVE A DAMN ABOUT YOU

A friend sent this joke to me regarding the 9% congressional approval rating:

A driver was stuck in a traffic jam on the highway outside Washington DC. Nothing was moving. Suddenly, a man knocks on the window.

The driver rolls down the window and asks, “What’s going on?”

“Terrorists have kidnapped Congress, and they’re asking for a $100 million dollar ransom. Otherwise, they are going to douse them all in gasoline and set them on fire. We are going from car to car, collecting donations.”

“How much is everyone giving, on average?” the driver asks.
The man replies, “Roughly a gallon.”

You know something is broken when jokes such as this are circulating around the country.

"Why protest? We have the best standard of living in the world!"

The sad part is, the joke’s on us, and nobody’s laughing, except for the people who refuse to acknowledge the fact that we’re getting screwed.

They’re still safe and warm, so why should they care?

I sure feel better now, knowing that the rich got richer while we’re going down the tubes.

Enjoy sinking into the lower middle class and the lower class as the potential for the rags-to-riches scenario slowly fades away at the benefit of corporate execs.

If you stand against the occupy movement, you embrace the deprecation of yourself and the majority of your countrymen by others. When will you comfortable fools realize that your ship is sinking?

Sinking for the pockets of a few. We live in a wannabe caste system now.

We protesters, TIME Magazine’s Person of the Year, I might add, get booed, called assholes and why?

Don’t they see we are just people giving a damn and tired of the corruption that is running wild in this world?

But I guess they think all we want is free everything, just like the mainstream media tells them how to think.

Thank you, Cindi. I’m seeing a lot of parallels in our country now with what was happening in Germany in 1933.

Even more alarming is I’m beginning to see parallels with what happened in 1857 India, when that country revolted against corporate rule, and ended the stranglehold of the British East India Company.

But, that’s for tomorrow when I talk about the Indian Mutiny of 1857.

He should be fired and prosecuted for assault. Make an example of him to show our police around the country what can happen to them if they use brutality on citizens. WE WILL NEVER FORGET, NOR WILL WE ACCEPT A “SINCERE” APOLOGY.
